Sit back relax and let the cook or your server make your food selection! The tastes will dazzle your taste buds. Not the type of place you want to rush in and rush out, though I am sure they would oblige. Enjoy!

great for kids but the price tag didn't really match the food served. A souvakli which consisted on 2 small kebabs, lettuce, pita and sun-dried tomatoes shouldn't be $13. awesome kids play area and very accommodating staff - service was very good

I was very pleased with Vios Café. The menu catered to all food tastes, from meat lovers to vegetarians. The service was wonderful and the wait staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. Everyone at my table raved about their meals, and none of us went away hungry. This was my first experience at Vios Café, but it will certainly not be my last. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

This was our second time at Vios. I had the babaganoush and roasted goat. The goat was fall from the bone tender. One of things I enjoy about Vios is the number of young families dining there. The restaurant seats families in one section and those without children in the front. I loved the occasional toddler wandering through. It feels like a big Greek family sharing a meal. Fun.

We had a quick meal before a concert and found Vios to be some of the best Greek found we've had in Seattle. And I liked they way they managed the crowd. Families with young children had a space where the parents didn't need to worry about disturbing other diners, which created a very positive atmosphere for all to enjoy.

What a fantastic brunch! I ordered the special benedict over braised greens and potato latke. OMG--delicious! It was served with fresh fruit and a special bread which was lightly toasted. We also ordered one of the pecan scones. WOW! I did not think a scone could be so scrumptious! I also enjoyed a splendid soy latte. Our waiter was fantastic, and I so wish I could remember his name! My friend and I had a great time visiting during our meal, and we were never made to feel rushed by the staff. The restaurant was not loud which made it so pleasant to converse. I highly recommend Vios Café, and I can't wait to go back! (Thanks for seating me early, before you were even open, while I awaited my friend's arrival-so kind!)

This bustling restaurant gives families a place to go and enjoy well prepared food. It's full if kids which is great if you have one/them but so loud that it's hard to hear. Delicious Greek cuisine - some traditional and some with really interesting ingredients like the halibut with black eyed peas, braised greens, fennel and heirloom tomato. They're food is good but be prepared to wait a long time for it. It's a great spot if you have kids and/or you like kids because they're everywhere.

As before, the food was awesome. I had the vegetarian risotto with crispy squash blossoms, my wife had the lamb sirloin. The service, however, was exemplary! Jorge, our server, was fun, knowledgeable and perfectly attentive. The rest of the wait staff were equally exceptional. We even had a great chat with the owner.

After making my initial reservation at Vios Cafe I changed both the time and the number of people in the party several times. It would not be a stretch of the imagination to say I provided a moderate annoyance and even an inconvenience for the staff. However, when the whole crew and I got there for dinner (sixteen of us total) servers and staff were more than understanding and very helpful. I felt well served to say the least. The food was very good and I heard nothing less from the whole party. The noise level was mostly controlled by our party because there were so many of us so I do not know what it would have been if we had been with a small group. Over all I very much enjoyed my experience with the food and service of Vios Cafe.

We had breakfast items, lunch items, coffee, esspresso and mimosas. All of it was great. Eggs Benedict served on latkes instead of bread was awesome. The server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant also has a rather large play area in the corner suitable for toddlers. Kept my friend's kids occupied quietly before and after they ate.

This is the place to bring toddlers because of the fantastic kid's corner and family friendly vibe. There are a few tables (and a couple booths) that butt up to half walls that create the play space. It is very well designed and very clean. The front of the house is sectioned off for tables without kids and there are even seats outside so there is something for everyone. The food was very good but not why we went there. We just needed a comfortable place to relax with friends that have a two year old and not have to apologize for every little thing. Even on a Saturday, we didn't feel rushed to turn the table. Thank you Vios for filling a much needed void in the Seattle dining scene. We'll be back.

    Dined on 5/11/2014
I understand that Mother's Day is a very busy time for restaurants. That said, I would think that owners, managers, staff are prepared. Our brunch got off to a slightly rocky start. We waited quite some time for our menus, water, and coffee. I know that the wait staff was slammed but waiting is not fun. Not fun when we made reservations and confirmed our reservations. It ended up being fine and the food was great. Yummy coffee. It was also a nice gesture to offer mimosa's to mothers.

If you are looking for a unpretentious, clean, and friendly place that serves good and flavorful food, then Cafe Vios is a top choice. I accidentally came across this gem while driving through Capital Hill one very hungry Saturday morning. When you step in, you are immediately welcomed by a hustling and bustling kitchen. The friendly staff greeted me right away, and I was seated by the window. The menu isn't big but full of tantalizing Mediterranean fares and also traditional American brunch dishes with nice twists. This is definitely a family-friendly place. Both times I visited, someone was celebrating a birthday. The noise level is acceptable and you will leave the place odor-free. I will mostly definitely be going back soon!

This is a family-oriented restaurant with large portions and a readily provided children's menu. It also has a play area for kids, so many families dine here. If you want a date night at a Greek restaurant, I'd suggest something else, but if you want to gather the family for a celebration, this is your spot. We had the Lamb Souvlaki (skewers) and shared the roasted cauliflower. Both were seasoned nicely. The staff is familiar with food allergies and happy to accommodate most menu items, but not all of the ingredients are listed in the menu, so be sure to have the server confirm the items. I highly recommend making a reservation several days in advance if you bring a group, because the restaurant felt full within minutes of opening.
