Vios Cafe - Capitol HillTucked in the 19th AvenueTucked in the 19th Avenue corridor on Capital Hill, this is one of my favorites. Healthy and Mediterranean food-my idea combination. The food is excellent, service as well. Locally owned. Responsive to customer needs--special requests. Loved it.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMSurprisingly good!Discovered Vios via OpenTable when looking for a Greek restaurant. I was initially disappointed when I noticed there wasn't any calamari, which I was craving, but the lamb souvlaki that I ended up ordering was excellent! Tender, juicy, delicious! We also ordered the 3-dip pita platter with tzatziki, babaganoush and kopanisti, and all were excellent. A surprisingly great dinner overall!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic family spot, awesome foodFantastic food, friendly service, and perfect for kids. They have a great playroom set up surrounded by booths so we actually managed to enjoy a leisurely brunch while our toddler stayed occupied! Great kids menu choices, interesting and tasty brunch options. We just love this place.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWe have always loved VIOSWe have always loved VIOS and had a great experience during our last visit. Great menu and excellent customer service! Service was spot on.
I had the octopus salad which was fantastic! My sister had the roast chicken and my husband ordered the chicken souvlaki. Chicken in both dishes were juicy and tasty!
Very family-oriented; there is a children's play area to be able to keep an eye out on your little one while dining.3/6/2013 12:00:00 AM
