All four entrees were great, the guy who ordered the filet declared it the "best I have ever tasted". The bouillabaisse was great and there was at least a pound and a half of seafood in the dish! The weakest part of the meal was the calamari appetizer; it was a bit overcooked, but still edible. The bread selection was fresh and flavorful. In fact, all of the the food is completely fresh and rich with flavor. The chef really knows how to pair ingredients to create the most savory experience. The dessert was the perfect bookend as well. We had the halibut and it was delicious. The meat/cheese selections are always great too - didn't have room for dessert this time. We had a fantastic time. Outdoors is so nice there. The preparation is great on the food and the wine list and cocktails are top notch. To be honest, I expected the Halibut to be better, ( no sauce at all)But it was still pretty good. The Service provided by Jim Henderson was fantastic. Very personable and efficient. I got a half portion, since I usually don't even have lunch. The only problem was that it was so delicious, I ended up wishing I had ordered the large. I was looking forward to a neighborhood style restaurant off the beaten path of the Las Vegas strip. The service was good and our waiter was very attentive but not friendly. Service was just a bit under par this visit, but still very good. (Drinks were empty a few times and server didn't notice without us asking for him.) Other than that, the food and service was great. They also have one of the best bread baskets in town! The presentation of each dish was gourmet level and everything my guests and I had was delicious. I go here often because of the impeccable food and service. My personal favorite unfortunately was not on the menu this month -- their beef barley soup is very delectible. The bartender had apparently left the bar for a minute so a cocktail waitress promptly greeted me and brought me water to the bar. The bartender was really friendly and made a great martini. It was a great start. After we sat, a waiter came promptly to get our drink order explaining our waitress was elsewhere but would be back with our drinks soon. Which she was. She was really friendly and efficient. With the exception of a medrare steak cooked at best medwell, our food was great. Treviso, burrata salad, osso buco and crab ravioli were all delicious. Excellent food and presentation. Wait staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Ambience was relaxing and fun. The food is definitely the highlight: Bouillabaisse to die for, Lamb Short Ribs a nice surprise, Caesar Salad with Prosciutto looked and tasted fantastic and let's not forget Butterscotch Creme Brûlée...yum. The menu left us with more things to try the next time......there will be a next time. Also like that it's here in Summerlin and not in a Casino. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was by far the most excellent I have had found in a very long time. Our server explained the lunch specials in full detail and made recommendations and pairings that were superb! Our server came back for drink refills and checked in on us every 10 minutes. The ambience was relaxing, quiet, and beautiful scenery inside and out! Decor is great but noise level was very high.
Experience was spoiled slightly due to slow service. Waiter said it was due to a large party (25 people) that was seated at the same time we were.
