We requested and received a window table so we could enjoy the fountain view. The food was artistically prepared with twists on classic dishes. We had the baked brie, salmon Cesar salad, and the shrimp salad. Everything was delicious and our waitress happily split both salads (without extra charge) so we could both try each salad. The brought us a banana bread dessert topped with ice cream as a birthday treat.

The staff was friendly from the valet, until we excited the restaurant. We ordered the mother's day 3 course meal with the wine pairing and there was never a gap between dishes and our wine being served. There were several food item selections to chose from. Even though the restaurant was busy for mother's day, we were never rushed and we felt calm and relaxed throughout our our dinner. We did not have to raise our voice to hear each other talk inside the restaurant. There were kids in the restaurant, but they were well behaved so that was never an issue. I definitely want to come back and try their lunch menu.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMExceptional serve staffWent on Mother's Day @ 6:30 for prefix dinner menu. Wait staff very well trained, friendly, and helpful. Quality of our 3 different first courses and deserts was excellent, except one creme brulee was rushed and sugar crust was not crisped at all. Two roast beef main courses were overdone (1 requested MR and 1 requested med) to point that medium well serving was difficult to cut. Very large portions: baked potatoes must have been a pound each and large amount of brocolli. Plate looked like a family serving platter. This is not a generalization, as all other main courses I noted were not super-sized.

We received donations from community members, families, educators, in fact, the whole community participated. Our luncheon was to thank one of our major donors who helped us get our campaign off the ground. We did not have to start out "in the hole". With this donor's participation, we started out with a "win"! 100% of the money raised will go into EUSD classrooms.
Vintana was a great place to thank our donor. If this is a criticism, understand that the quality of the food was wonderful, but the portions were rather large on the entrees. Skip the apps if you don't want to fill up, but that's a shame cause the apps are wonderful. Also, salads are generous portion, easy to split. Lobster Mac and cheese was awesome...fish was fresh and well prepared and presented. Crazy about the Brussels sprout side dish. Exceptional wine list and we happened to hit Vintana on half off wine day! Better selection of 1/2 off wines than most. The entree selection was large and difficult to choose. I had the Sea Bass which was an excellent preparation. Dad got the filet which was perfectly cooked and after a suggestion by our server, my wife got the pork porterhouse - SUPER! We wouldn't get the cookie sandwiches again. Other desserts have nice presentation and look worth trying. Wednesday night bar special fish tacos & exotic margarita for $13 sounds great. Warm and inviting as soon as you step inside. The waiter was very knowledgable about the food and wine. We had three appetizers; I really enjoyed the brie. The calamari and ceviche were equally as delicious. Each of us had a salad, and there were no complaints! Hats off to the chef! The view is spectacular and prices are reasonable.
