  • Private Party Facilities: We offer five different special event rooms. Our private dining room offers a completely private board-room setting for 28, private foyer, hidden drop down screen and elegant decor. Our exclusive Beringer room is a semi-private circular room with a hi-top circular table that seats up to 12, ideal for interactive, communal dining. Our Bistro dining room is a raised area, semi-private which can accommodate up to 46. This room can also be used as a private cocktail area for up to 70. Our Main dining room can accommodate up to 72, offering a combination of booths and tables. Our tavern can accommodate up to 200 for a private function.

  • "Very good lunches. Best steak in Calgary. Johnny is the best bar tender in Calgary. Excellent service by all staff. Pressure management to allow reservations on the bar side after 5:00 pm on hockey nights. The kitchen is still struggling with the fried fish. Lighter batter.... the way it was two or three years ago. Less "grease"??"

  • "My wife and I had heard really good things from friends but what we received was very poor service. The waiter could not be bothered with us at all and was very short and rude with us when ordering. I am surprised based on the reputation of Vintage but unfortunately whatever was bothering our waiter was refelcting not only onto us but to the other customers as well as we could hear other people making comments to one another The food was definitely the quality that we were expecting and the restaurant itself is excellent but unfortunately this experience makes us question not only wether we would return but also if we would recommend it to any of our friends."

  • "We enjoyed a Business Lunch at which we were able to hear our conversation without yelling at each other to be able hear. Back ground music was actually enjoyable and not blaring top 40 tunes so loud you are exhausted trying to conduct any kind of business conversation and I might add you clients are frustrated with your choice of venues to meet at. Food was great, portions perfect for my clients and myself. Our server Geri was awesome and very pleasant. All of the staff we dealt with or conversed with were Great and seemed to enjoy their jobs."

  • "The food was good, the decor is attractive. Our table seemed to back on to a runway of traffic. The steaks are overpriced but cooked to perfection, sides delicious. Our server was adequate and pleasant. Her support staff seemed stuffy. Lava cake was amazing! Given the choices in Calgary we would try another restaurant for any future family celebrations."

  • "If you're a fan of steak, this is one of the places to go in Calgary. The setting has a very luxurious atmosphere and their cuts of meat are excellent. The staff are very knowledgeable in their cuts, and will entertain any question. The seafood tower is great to start and I like how the sides are meant for sharing. Its my usual place to go to for a good steak dinner so have faith in my review. I did find the last time I went, their butcher block special was the same (Wagyu) so not sure if it changes or it was sheer coincidence."

  • "We shared a 32oz prime rib with lobster mash and roasted mushrooms. The steak was absolutely perfect I like mine Chicago style so very seared on the outside, which although they don't have the grill for the did their best to accommodate and they didn't disappoint! The steak was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and even the fat was edible and melted in your mouth! Our lobster mash was packed with meaty pieces of lobster and had lots of flavor too. We ordered peppercorn sauce but didn't end up eating much of it because the flavor of the steak was too good so we just dipped the odd mushroom in it. All in all wonderful experience, friendly service and fantastic food. Will definitely be back!"

  • "Due to the world excellency that Alberta's cattle and steaks have, this hot spot can do a lot much better.Presentation of entrees, price/quality/size ratio has enough room to improve. Variety and more meat can be performed in order to achieve excellency. Servers are in a constant hurry but always gentile and kind.wine list is above the average, with excellent suggestions by house sommelier (this feature is not commonly seen in other restaurants on the area). bar area is great and saves the night.People gathers around the apparently communal table that makes the difference. By the way, kids and teens should be accepted or at least, the enough marketing materials around should say they are not allowed in."

  • "We came to Vintage for our anniversary and were seated at the perfect corner table for cuddling. The servers were really friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I was impressed with the presentation of all the different cuts of steak. The food was stellar, absolutely no complaints. I would recommend everything that we tried. The seared scallops, the lobster mashed, the Waigyu beef (outstanding!!!) and the asparagus. We shared everything including the steak which was totally the right choice, otherwise it would have been too much. Yes it was pricey but it was great value nonetheless, the food was amazing! I will definitely be returning and bringing all my friends with me!"

  • "Our server was very well informed on her met and cuts. We were presented with a board full of beef and an explanation of each cut and where the beefcake from. It was great! The meat was cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious. This was our first time there but will definitely not be our last! Book a reservation online in order to guarantee a table."

  • "A very enjoyable experience! The flavour in every single dish that was ordered exceeded my expectations. The steaks alone are phenomenal, but what makes the dining experience even better are the variety of side dishes they offer. The portion sizes are huge, and the quality of each ingredient is exceptional. I'm not a drinker, but the virgin drinks the server decided for me, made it so well- it was still a really nice treat to have this drink even though it was non alcoholic. Very nice dining experience!"

Since then it's become one of my favourite restaurants in Calgary.   • "My husband and I were looking forward to our dinner at Vintage. Friendly greeting, nice ambience. Our waiter was not very attentive. We had to flag him down to order our entrée. We both ordered the NY, both medium - mine ended up medium and my husbands was closer to well done. This was very disappointing. He had scalloped potato which were great. I ordered a glass of wine with my entrée, it did not arrive at our table until I was almost done dinner. And, it was awful. The waiter never came back to check, so he didn't ask me how it was until we asked for the cheque. We ordered dessert, lemon meringue was good, chocolate molten cake was not. It was hard on the top, raw on the bottom. We eat out a lot and Vintage was just not up to par."

  • "We had our first experience with Vintage Chophouse over the weekend. My husband and I loved the atmosphere at Vintage, it was quiet, romantic and with having two little kids and it being our "date night" it was nice that it is an over 18yrs restaurant. The food was very good. My biggest disappointment was despite having booked our reservation a month a head of time when our reservation was confirmed we were told that we had an "out time" 1hr 45mins after our reservation. This is a lot of time to eat but when you spend $200 on a meal I don't like feeling that we are going to be kicked out if we haven't finished in time. We got our dessert 10 minutes before our out time so felt a little rushed to finish."

I've been to both CHARCUT and Vintage now, and although Vintage is way more traditional and less hip, the actual food is incomparable. The cuts and cook of these steaks were divine at Vintage. If you want 'incredible' food and value substance over pizazz, go to Vintage."

  • "We went for New Years Eve and it was a lot of fun. They had a band and people of all ages were dancing and enjoying themselves. Are waiter was not very personable and seemed to not be in a good mood. The food was great but bottles of champagne are very expensive. I was hoping they would give us a free toast at midnight but that didn't happen. They did have fun New Years party hats and noise makers though so that was fun as well!"

  • "I have been out to a number of Steak Houses in Canada/US and I must say Vintage Chophouse was an amazing experience! Flat out the food was beyond incredible, the atmosphere chic but not uptight and really a place you can go for ANY occasion. Too often (in my experience) the service is where these venues really suffer. So, I wanted to take the opportunity to thank Louie, our amazing server for the night. This guy was a gem! Engaging, attentive, sense of humour and totally made the night that much more enjoyable. If you are looking for a night out with great company and great food, make sure to try out Vintage Chophouse.....And be sure to ask for Louie as your server (and the 14oz Strip Loin)!"

  • "I need to explain something. As I am a butcher by trade and own a business here in Calgary I am very hesitant to try any Beef steaks as they do not compare to what I bring home to cook. So usually I try items on the menu that are not related to beef in any way. On my first visit to Vintage a while back I decided to try a 14 oz Ribeye and was pleasantly surprised. The steak was done to perfection, was spiced well and the flavour was excellent. Having said that, it was not very hard to finish the steak and I did not share it with my wife. So here we are again. I have found a steak house that I am very happy with and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a good portion of steak that is very easy to consume. Had the ribeye"

  • "Upon our arrival the Host immediately seated us. He was friendly and upbeat and even passed on the birthday wish to my husband. I would have to say that we were impressed with the quality of food but found the food presentation and service was lacking. Our waiter seemed to start out with us in a upbeat manner but we are not sure if he had too many tables, but he forgot to bring things to us that we asked for and then seemed to turn cold on us for no apparent reason. At the end when we were paying him, one of our party wanted their portion split out from the bill and he refused to add that up for her. In the end he ended up with a tip that was much higher than deserved. Make sure you ask for your bill to be split when you order."

NY strip was overdone but restaurant quickly replaced with correctly done entree, manager even checked up on second entree. Truffle Mac & Cheese is a must have side. Extensive wine list. Large portions for desserts so save room. Server seemed more interested in larger group in section than our table of three, very disappointing since ours was a $400 bill! Would return for a special occasion but different Server."
