We have been meaning to try Vintage since it opened. Sorry that we waited so long! We had several apps (shrimp, crab cakes & potato chips) and not a complaint amount the four of us. Main course was the only misstep, but it was taken care of very quickly. One of the steaks was very very over done. They quickly refired a new one with no complaints. The desserts looked great, but we just didn't have room for them. Wine and drinks were great and the service was OUTSTANDING! We will make a return visit soon.

My burger was overcooked so we sent it back. It came out well done again....even the server said "it still looks the same" We ordered an espresso then we were told the machine was down and needed to wait for the manager to remove the charge from the bill. We were the only people in the place. The server was kind and tried to be accommodating but, where was the manager? 7 people with food and drinks ran up a sizeable tab. They removed the burger and the coffee, but I cant believe no one came by.....

Vintage 423 was great! From the service, to the food, to the bar - we enjoyed it all. I particularly liked the decor because it felt like I was transported to another city. The modern look and ambiance was refreshing. The servers were extremely friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it was tasty, but possibly a bit under-seasoned. The presentation of the all of the dishes ordered at my table was impeccable. The drinks were by far the best part. They were delicious and well worth it! The desserts were very good as well and again, the presentation made them even better. After dinner, we made our way to the bar. The bar was crowded which is always a good sign to me. The firepit tables were awesome too!

This was the first stop of many for a Bachelorette day of Celebration for my best friend. I received a call in the morning confirming that my party would be there on time. When we showed up, the hostess was waiting to take us to our reserved table. We were on the patio, which is lovely. Our table had a reserved sign, but was filthy. The hostess quickly rectified the situation. And I have to say that this was the only part of our time at Vintage 423 that was anything less than stellar. Landon was exceptional! He joked around with us and made sure that our drinks were always full and the food was to our liking. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone having a similar event.

My wife and I went for our first time for our anniversary. We had a cape else salad which was very good. Main course was spicy scallops for me and chicken cordon bleu for my wife. Both were well prepared but elements of each dish were off. The chicken was dry and the risotto with the scallops was lacking in flavor. Service was great. For the dollar there are better places in the area.

This restaurant has a great vibe....ambiance, food, wait staff, hostesses. We enjoyed an amazing meal, from start to finish, complete with an unexpected surprise, a decadent dessert provided by the restaurant, for our wedding anniversary. Brad, our server, was charming and professional. Saw to our every need, but did not hover, and the comfy seats in the booths are delightful...A definite "go back" place. Oh, and the quality and presentation of each dish was fab. Sent our compliments to the chef, and Brad said he would relay the message.

Dining at vintage 423 was not worth the money spent. It took the waiter nearly ten minutes to fill our water glasses and that seemed to be the norm the entire night. The waiter recommended the lotus cocktail, and it was horrible, it's flavor was masked by too much alcohol. Instead, we opted for prosecco with meal, which took 15 minutes to be delivered. We ordered a caprese salad to share, which needed more salt to bring out the flavors of the heirloom tomatoes. And a rib-eye, which upon being delivered, which the food runner admitted he didn't know the name of the dish, he simply called it the larger entree. And for dessert the flourless chocolate cake. Vintage should have better service for the price paid.

Vintage 423 offers a classic, chic decor coupled with an outstanding menu and wine list that, at first, made choosing what to eat difficult, followed by thoroughly enjoying what I did end up eating. For the appetizer, I had the crab cakes with mango relish. This was a good, petite appetizer, but the thin coating seemed to dominate the flavor as the crab didn't have much flavor. Still good, though. I had the Surf and Turf for my main course, which was exquisite. The 6 oz. filet, cooked medium-rare, was magnificent! The crab/stuffing-stuffed shrimp and accompanying vegetables were also well displayed and very tasty. Last but not least, was the Chocolate Decadence. Yum! The wines I sampled were also very good. I fully recommend Vintage 423!

The reason I only gave this restaurant 3 stars is because the chicken was dry and inedible. Waiter was aware and said he would tell the chef but did not remove the charge until the group voiced their dissapproval. A special birthday request was made with the reservation but the waiter was not aware of it until the group spoke up. We ate outside and the traffic noise was loud.

Had to ask for table to be wiped clean (outside table, windy day), lettuce was old, brown on the edges, wilted and drowning under the weight of the balsamic vinaigrette. Was that ham in the cordon bleu?

After a lot of consideration we chose Vintage423 for our father's day early dinner/late lunch; 330pm. Usually the food makes up for any poor service or potentially loud atmosphere, however, this was not the case. We ordered the calamari for our appetizer, which was poorly crafted with very little if any breading and over cooked leaving us chewing on rubber. Then my wife asks if she can have scallops with a side of pasta, which was not on the lunch menu, but was on the dinner menu which started at 4pm. We were told that the kitchen didn't have anything prepared for dinner service yet so they would not accommodate our request. I ordered the Diablo frutti de mare: which ironically came with scallops. But was disgusting and way overpriced. ..

If you are looking to make a great impression Vintage 423 is the way to go! The only downside was that the place was far too nice for me to loosen my belt after eating all of the wonderful food!

Carrie was our server and made the evening memorable! She suggested a wine that was excellent (Slingshot Cab) and I had three people with me for their birthdays (June 3,4,5) that I took on June 4 which she brought dessert for. I couldn't get her to sing happy birthday :-), but everything else she did would make me go back. Chicken Fettuccine was very good, the 9 oz. filet I was told was excellent as were the meatball dinner and pear salad. I did have to request a dinner roll which Carrie brought out immediately with a dish of olive oil but I would recommend that be a standard accompaniment.

I suppose if Albuquerque had any "see and be seen" places this would be one of them. The crowd is usually mixed and diverse (hard to come by in this city) and generally good-looking, but the food is what I come for. For the most part I've not been disappointed - though I almost always order steak which they do well. Friends have ordered pasta/risotta and that has left them always disappointed, but the salads, (green chile) mashed potatoes, and fish offerings are hits. The drinks are delicious and strong. I've come here for birthdays, for happy hour, for funsies, and always a good time has been had.

This was our first time at Vintage. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and taken to our table. The waiter was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and was attentive to our every need. The food was EXCELLENT! Since we were dining on a Monday, our bottle of wine was half price and they re-corked what we didn't drink to take home with us. From the appetizer to the dessert, all was prepared perfectly. This is a definite repeat and we highly recommend it.

We went to Vintage 423 to trying to find a change in venue in the Albuquerque area. A friend had recommended Vintage to my wife, so I went on the net, found their website, and was impressed. We got a 06:45 pm dinner reservation got there and everything was pretty much as advertised on the website. At 07:00 pm the background music doubled in volume and switched to Rave. We're over 50 and don't do Ecstasy so the music didn't work for us. The food was alright, nothing to write home about, and the service was slow. Considering the size of the bar and the Friday night after work crowd, I assume the bar is the restaurant's money maker. Anyway, we might go back in the future but will definitely get a patio table and go earlier in the day.

Our waiter was professional. I never had an empty water glass. My wife had a martini and as soon as it was empty, our waiter was there asking if she wanted a refill. She wanted a glass of wine, so he brought over the wine list. She ordered her wine and it was served to her quickly. My wife ordered her usual pasta dish and she loved it. I ordered the duck and it was very good. Whenever we wanted our waiter, he was at our table. The only problem was a small problem. My duck comes with cooked baby carrots and brussel sprouts. I asked for raw carrots, which I have had it the passed. When my dinner came, the carrots were cooked and the sprouts were missing. Our waiter brought my sprouts immediately. I ate the cooked carrots.

We were early for a Saturday night reservation, but were seated promptly. Service was a little forced at first, as waiter started to take the wine glasses because we were waiting to order wine based on our entree selections. He gave us as much time as we needed and was prompt in getting the bottle to us when ordered. Food was quick, maybe a a little quick, but not out of order. We both had sea food dishes that were prepared and presented very well. I did have one clam that did not open and should have been caught by kitchen, but remainder were good. Very tasty and good portions on both entrees. We will return.

This was my second visit to Vintage 423. Each time the food for all 3 of us was mostly excellent. Service the first time was very good, but the second time was marginal. Price was about right; not inexpensive, but not exorbitant. For the most part though, this is not a place for the 'over 40s'. The lounge/bar seemed to be the primary target for the customer base. What got my attention was the uniformed security/bouncer checking IDs at the bar. Hmmmm. And the noise level in the dining area was a bit high. So I may go back for a mid-week casual meal with my wife, but I doubt I'll go back for a nice Saturday night dinner.
