"What a great place! Our waiter Michael was fantastic - engaging, new the menu and wine list well. We had a girls night out and every one of our meals was great. The fish, perfectly prepared, the gnocchi - incredibly light and beautifully prepared. Chef is very creative and his "mix" of flavors and fresh ingredients really shines. Will definately be back!"

"I enjoy myself every time I go to Vino for brunch. Not only do I enjoy the food, but the selection of bottomless mimosas, bellinis, or Kir Royale is a good fit."

"The awful service made for an awful dinning experience...
We ordered the 3 course dinner menu and got a course about every hour. Actually we left after two and a half hours after two courses because I was so tired. It one thing to have a leisurely dinning experience and a completely different thing to sit around for hours waiting for your food to come!
1. Ordered a bottle of wine....we had to purposely stop drinking because it had been an hour and our appetizers hadn't come yet.
2. Because it took another hour for dinner we had to ordered a glasses of wine to go with dinner.
3. Thirty minutes later we decided to leave without our desert (ice cream) because it was getting late and I was super tired."

"Perfect experience, I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Vinoteca and we will be back. Our server was very helpful in explaining the menu and describing the dishes. We decided to get 6 small plates to share which was enough for two of us. Our server recommended the 5J Jamon Iberico which was the highlight of our meal, definitely try it!"

"Vinoteca is my go-to spot for brunch! The food is beyond fantastic and our waitress was so fun. There are the brunch staples on the menu, but each time I go there's also some new options to try. Even the patrons are friendly (maybe it's the bottomless mimosas and kir royales!) We made new friends with the people at the tables on either side of us. No question a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon."

"My date and I were seated at about 6:40 PM on a Thursday night and we did not have anyone stop at our table to even take a drink order until 7:10. There were two tables that were seated after us that received service before anyone even stopped by our table. I did stay for one glass of wine as I had already invested so much time and it was nice outside so we figured we'd hang out for at least one drink then go else where. The wine was fine and there is a good selection at Vinotech. I noticed that this place is very light on portions and as my hunger increased due to my wait my desire for small plate dinning dwindled as well. When the server came back to ask if I wanted to order any food I said no I just wanted the check."

"One of the two best meals I've had in D.C. (which includes many of the D.C. lobbyist-centric big names), at a notably reasonable price. Absolutely flawless execution of the food. Food-friendly wine list, intelligently chosen to cover somewhat lesser-known areas, very fairly priced. Service was pleasant and well-meaning, but a bit scattered. Room was quite loud when full (which seems to have been a deliberate choice on the part of the designers), pleasant as it cleared out. But wow, that food!"
