    Vinology features two completely private rooms, a third semi private area, a portable screen, LCD projector, and private sound system. Our Event Planner will be happy to work with you to meet any additional equipment or décor needs for your event.

  • "We went to Vineology because my husband received a gift card from a friend. Not a great experience. We sat at our table for almost 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. I found the manager. The food wasn't good - a lot going on and every dish was very oily. The manager didn't even come back to check on us once he found a us a server. There are many better restaurant options Ann Arbor."

  • "The menu has become much more creative over the past year. I also appreciated the 1/2 entree option. My wife and I shared an appetizer and salad and each ordered a 1/2 entree. They say you can order the 1/2 entree tapas style but I would not recommend this. It would be too much food as a tapas plate. Overall lovely experience."

  • "My husband and I love dining here. The name tells you it has an extensive wine list, of course. What it doesn't tell you is that the menu is wonderful as well. You can make a three-course meal from the menu OR can dine tapas-style on the appetizers. All entrees come in two sizes, allowing you to scale up or down as you choose. Most desserts are sized for sharing. Enjoy!"

  • "Went with another couple. Great options for appetizers and main course. Avocado mousse is guacamole though. Dinner was great. Entrees are combined with interesting starches and vegetables. Tuna salmon bison and chicken entrees all very good. Wine list not too expansive and the first choice they did not have. If going to be a small list they need to keep stocked Wait staff very good. Ambiance kept us there for drinks after dining"

  • "My boyfriend and I (self-professed foodies) were looking for a good local restaurant to try in Ann Arbor, and Vinology definitely exceeded our expectations. If you are into innovative dishes with flavor profiles that are not your standard fare, creative drink choices, and an extensive wine list, look no further. The small plates allow you to try multiple dishes, though I will caution that many of the dishes are very rich. At a normal tapas bar, I can usually split four small plates between two people and be satisfied, but here I was definitely stuffed after just two plates. Perhaps ordering a salad or a cheese plate instead of four of the richest dishes on the menu would have been better advised. All the food and drinks tasted great!"

  • "So much creative effort in preparing the entrees, truly appreciate that. The entrees were outstanding both the Tuna and the Chicken. Goes well beyond the expectation. The appetizer coupled with chutneys and other add-ons are perfect to complement the wine. The strawberry dessert is to die for! Overall, lovely ambiance, great service and high satiety value to the food."

  • "My wife and I had a terrific dinner experience at Vinology. Our waiter, Matt, was incredibly helpful and attentive - we especially appreciated his help in selecting wine pairings with our meals. We really enjoyed the bison entree, and each of the red wines we tried was excellent. We also enjoyed a seasonal cheese appetizer and salads that were unique and delicious. The presentation of each dish was particularly memorable. Portions were plentiful, so much so that we found we had no room left for dessert. It was not an inexpensive night out at Vinology, but we enjoyed the food, the wines, and the experience so much that we're looking forward to returning!"

Our wines were amazing as they always are at Vinology, the food was delicious (especially the chicken and creamy mashed sweet potatoes), and I love that they make their own desserts. The wine was excellent, as were all the small plates we ordered to share. service was very good due to the knowledge of the products by our server as well as his ability to not interfere with our experience yet be present when needed.   • "As frequent AA visitors, this was a first visit to Vinology. We began with appetizers and a bottle of Champagne. Each exceeded our expectations; of note the cheese tray had trimmings that enhanced the cheeses’ flavors; a lovely surprise to the palate. Unfortunately, main entrees were rushed through the kitchen and delivered to our table before we had completely finished our first course. We were not provided an opportunity to order dinner wine before our meal arrived and were well into our entrees before our rushed wine order arrived; ...odd considering the name of this restaurant. Setting service issues aside, each of our four different entrees and desert was excellent. The rushed service did not match the excellent caliber of the food."

  • "This was our first time dining at Vinilogy. We were given a gift card from our kids, it was one of my daughter's favorite restaurants while she was a student at U of M. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious and by far one of the best restaurants we have dined at. The wine, appetizer, salad, entrees & dessert were all had amazing flavor and quality ingredients. We have had many restaurant experiences on Main Street and have made many recommendations and we most definitely will put Vinology on the top of the list."

The menu is creative, delicious, and changes with the seasons so you'll never get bored with your choices. The staff is friendly and helpful (even helped choose our wine to compliment our meals) and you leave feeling like you made their night by having dinner there. I would recommend Vinology to anyone who wants to try something new, make an impression, or just wants a guaranteed delicious meal."

We were just there for an evening snack and wine with friends, but our salads and the terrine were delicious: well balanced flavors, beautiful presentation, coupled with great wine. However, later in the evening the atmosphere was a little ruined by what I can only explain as "trashy undergrad bar music" coming from downstairs. There might have been a private event, but it was really loud and detracted from the classiness of the place. Hopefully, when I go back to sample more of the menu, that part of the experience will be lacking."

  • "I always enjoy going to Vinology/Ann Abor - great atmosphere whether you're out with friends, significant other or with family. The menu is not exactly palatable for kids, FYI. Menu is somewhat limited, but the flavors go above and beyond. Same goes to the wine list! We celebrated my mothers birthday - when I made my reservation on Open Table, I noted it was her birthday dinner. At the end of our meals we were surprised by a complimentary hot lava fudge cake & (praline) ice cream which was completely unnecessary yet highly appreciated. Great staff and wonder ambiance."

  • "We were looking for a spot for dinner after 9 pm and choose Vinology. The service was fantastic. We started with the scallop samosas. They were crisp and crunchy. The scallops were in large pieces and the sweet taste came through. I had the spiced salmon. It was a delicious and hearty meal. Even though I had the half portion I was unable to finish the dinner. My husband had the bison and really enjoyed it. We split the panna cotta. It was ok but we would probably choose something else the next time. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. After a large meal and several drinks I wish the coffee had been more robust. Overall the food and service are wonderful. I love the unique take on traditional recipes. We'll be back."

  • "I went with a friend for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated at the front near the windows, which would ordinarily have been great, but it was too dark. Very difficult to see the menu. The waiter was nice, but seemed to be in a hurry all night, even when there were few people left in the restaurant. It was the first night of a new menu, but I was still surprised the waiter did not know what a number of things were. The food itself was OK. One of the starters we had was a "samosa." It was definitely not a samosa, but more akin to a spring roll. It tasted good, but wasn't what we were expecting. I have had fantastic food and great service at Vinology (mostly at lunch). I was surprised by how "so-so" it was this night."

  • "I love Vinology. This week 5 girls who hadn't seen each other in a long time met there during restaurant week. You can imagine there was a lot of talking! We had two sets from the restaurant week menu ( sharing the desserts )and the other three ate off the regular menu. All was excellent, especially the fish from the main menu. What I like about this place - not a huge menu, so not overwhelming but a good variety and always changing. The staff are well trained and very helpful. They know when to give you time."
