Vino 124 is nicely tucked into Main Street in Front Royal and was a pleasure. Food was wonderful, atmosphere quiet, and the service was fantastic. Of particular note was our server Brooke. What a lovely young lady, well versed in all aspects of the offerings of Vino 124, and as friendly a server as we have ever had. She pronounced the crab cakes as "the best I have ever eaten." The lamb was beautifully prepared and the lasagna was unique and very tasty. Our waitress, Brooke, was attentive and friendly. On the first night we had their salmon appetizer with mascarpone and citrus--delicious--and my boyfriend had the lasagne, some of the best we have tasted of both. We both noticed that the greens and tomatoes in the salad which came with the meal were especially fresh and the dressing was one f the best I have ever had. The recommended wines with the entrees were delicious, from a small but very diverse wine list, and the little wine bar area in the back proved delightfully entertaining and relaxing after dinner.
