Menu was terrific, many things that were different from the usual and very appetizing. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Manager came to our table to ask how things were and talked about upcoming events at the restaurant. Service was outstanding. While I recall seeing avg. meal was $30, plan on twice that amount per person. While I hate to be negative toward a good alternative spot, I would come to Vinnie's before I ever go to the Angus Barn every time. Thanks for a great meal! Side note, Vinnie's is not known for their fries, so order anything else, fries just take away from an otherwise fantastic dining experience. The service is always super friendly and extremely professional and the food and wine are always top notch. I have never had a bad experience or a bad meal there. But what keeps us coming back is the food. They use fresh local ingredients which is very important to me. Chef Tom is very creative and everything is just delicious. This place is a relatively unknown gem of a steakhouse, and certainly rivals The Angus Barn, Sullivan's, and Ruth's Chris. Although the steaks are awesome, it's the sides that keep us interested.
