Now that they have the Trois et Trois menu with three courses for thirty dollars plus half price wine on Wednesday, we find ourselves there more often. Wait staff is professional and knowledgable. Food was good, gourmet so don't expect much, though the waiter seemed to be a bit pushy when my wife said she did not want the celery soup. One thing we miss is that the smells of the kitchen are not allowed in the restaurant. Understand that they might conflict but aroma is a powerful attractant when done well.

My sister and I tried the 'trois et trois' special which I would highly recommend for those interested in trying the place out. It's amazing what you get for the price: generous portions of 3 whole courses for a mere $30 per person. I was worried that this place would be tripping over itself to earn gourmet kudos, which I have found means that they assault my palate with overly intense flavors. Vincent's has a very thoughtfully composed sustenance-first attitude. Secondly the food was very artfully and skillfully enhanced with unique, to me, preparation, and flavors. I thought that a bit odd since there are some outstanding wines here now- That beat out Napa in tastings- try South Coast Winery wining the Golden Bear several years in a row (most medals of ANY winery in the state), and Rancho Del Oro for the best red blend at the San Fran Chronicle competition (which shocked many up North). So, that s the only thing I'd suggest to change! So, bring your own local bottle next time! Outside was Friday Night Classic Car show so a bit noisy & hard to find parking, but in the restaurant itself we were delighted with the quality of the dishes and the staff. All of us were very happy with our choices, especially the meat sauces. The soup de jour was over-the-top, and we loved les escargot.
I must not fail to mention the great service, along with a wonderful wine list. We went online to review your menu and were instantly pleased. I myself reside in Orange County, but my sister was vacationing from CANADA.
The service in every aspect and the food was definitely outstanding. I wll make extra sure to pass on to as many peoples as possible the best restaurant in Escondido is "VINCENT'S" and that it is a must destination.

The food made up for the small size though. Flavor of the food was great and service was great. I would go back again during restaurant week because the price is rather high. Chef Vincent is one of the very few great french chefs left in North County San Diego. Our meal was spectacular. The wines perfectly paired with our selections. The service was prompt and polite. The price was minuscule when you compare the quality of the food and our dining experience to most of the Big Named Restaurants with far less to offer.
