It was delightful to find a menu that included so many seafood and vegetarian options, as well as having selections for meat eaters. Perfect choice for occasion. Felt very continental. Service was perfectly paced. My friend was delighted to find her favorite 12-year Scotch available. I ordered the ravioli and each mouthful was heavenly. I like to taste both the individual flavors and the combined flavors at the same time and this dish was perfect. I tasted my friends' salmon and chicken Marsala. Both wonderful. BTW, they do an authentic caprese salad and although no dessert this time, the tiramisu is tremendous. While there, I watched as one of the diners walked over to the kitchen window and thanked the chef by name. It is one of those hole in the wall places that has good ambience and is kept a half-secret - keep it in business but not so busy you can't get a table! The pasta is excellent and homemade. Portions are moderately sized - enough to share if you do the whole dinner experience from appetizers through dessert. Wait staff is charming but unobtrusive and never too far away to address your desires. The place is child friendly with booster and high chairs, although you should consider a babysitter if you want to avoid disturbing other tables too much (small restaurant).
