It was the first time my wife and I ate here and we were impressed. The staff was very polite and gave us complimentary champagne when we arrived. We had the fried artichoke with parsley for appetizer and two types of ravioli both sausage and butternut squash and gnocchi for dinner. The homemade pasta was fresh and wonderful. Would have had dessert also, but we were getting full. We actually live in Pleasanton, not San Jose but it is well worth the trip out. We will definitely come back.

Great experience. I was tempted to ordet the boar as it's not something you see on the around here, but settled for thr lb. It was absolutely to die for. The carbonara was outstanding too. Great place lunch and dinner.

Mediocre meal. Was extremely disappointed with the fritto appetizer. The fried calamari, shrimp and veggies were greasy and lacked flavor. The arugula salad with warm fried cheese square was overdressed, and had too much shaved cheese in it. The fried cheese square wasn't even melted on the inside. Poorly executed salad. Pastas were hit and miss. The gnocchi was excellent but the ravioli was nothing to write home about. the boar sqaghetti was ok but not worth $30. It lacked finesse and should have been served over pappardelle instead of spaghetti.
Although live music is always a treat, the place is too small for the sound and we started to get a headache at the volume levels increased in order to be heard in conversation,

We hold this restaurant to a high bar based on previous experiences and were very disappointed. The service and atmosphere were great, but our entrees were below par and, sadly in this area, the wine list was pedestrian.

We were pleasantly surprised at our experience. We almost didn't go because of previous reviews we read about the place. We were encouraged to go and we are glad we did. The service was excellent and the food was great! We mostly had raviolis and they were very tasty. The server's recommendations were spot on. We will be back!

I can't believe I've lived in Willow Glen for 5.5 years and have never been here. The food was OUTSTANDING, as was the service. My girlfriend actually hugged out server, Tony, on our way out. Our table of 6 all took bites of each other's food and it was all delicious. I was raving all night about the broccoli! I'll be on the list of regulars soon!!

Disappointing. Long wait for order to be taken, long wait for salad, then such a long wait for the entrees that we finally asked, after 40 minutes, and immediately they were brought! The restaurant was half empty, but very noisy.
