"We have been to the Pembroke Village Tavern a total of 6 times now. Each time the service has been good and the food delicious! The atmosphere is lively and family friendly. The menu has a good variety of appetizers and entrees to keep everyone in our family happy. We will definitely return."

"I had Brunch at the Village Tavern which include local family members as well as my aunt and uncle from the Cayman Islands you travel to the area quite frequently. Although we all had different menu items, everyone including myself raved about the taste of the food and we enjoyed ourselves very much. This was my second time here and first for brunch but we will definitely be back again. Wonderful way to start the day!"

"The only thing that we were very upset at the time to make our dinner order was that they run out of Prime Rib, which was the main reason for what we decided to go to this restaurant."

"The ambiance and service was great but I found that the food was a bit over seasoned and if you ask for a menu item that includes sauce beware. They tend to drown (hide) their food behind their sauces. Now keep in mind they have Great Steaks, a healthy wine selection and the sauces taste great. Just the presentation and quantity of sauce needs to be measured. The wait can be long so do make reservations."

"We have always been fans of the Village Tavern. The prime rib is probably the best there is in our area. Our only problem is that they took my wife's favorite dish, the lamb chops, off the menu.

Otherwise, we love it and will be back."

"My date and I enjoyed the appetizer sampler, the rainbow trout had a nice terriyaki sauce but it was a little dry my veggies were over steamed leaving them mushy and unappetizing. My date ordered the grouper he too liked his buttered sauce but the several bones he bit into were not so enjoyable; his veggies were also over cooked. Food was ok at best, the service was good. (our server was in training, but did a good job) we also enjoyed the romantic ambience of the restaurant."
