"I have been to VT multiple times for lunch and have had good experiences. Saturday night was not the case. There were a lof of prom attendees in the restaurant and this seemed to fluster the staff. We had to wait 20 minutes to sit down even though we had a reservation. VT did comp the table 1 appetizer due to the delay. They were out of talapia so we had to change our orders. I ended up ordering a NY strip MR and it showed up MW. Sent it back and the new steak was prepared correctly. The waiters seemed hassled and were not attentive. I will return to VT but not for dinner."

"Village Tavern is a great place for brunch, however, the policy of 12 or more to secure a patio reservation, if sustained as policy, will be a deal breaker - the patio during early spring and mid-to-late fall is the major draw. Also, this past Sunday, April 1st, the patio was completely closed for business. This was very disappointing.....not sure.....but seems like it was due to a lack of staff on hand to manage the extra space. We're hoping the next visit to the VT enables us to vote "outstanding" in the overall experience category."

"Tennis girls celebrating their loss only to be excited and pumped by the great food and service we recieved. Oh the Pota toe salad yes with bacon! The handsome waiter with the great accent from wales just like our tennis partner from South Africa. Somewhat disappointed no Margaretia pizzia although switching to the hamburger and again that great
potatoe salad was fab. You can not beat being outside and great service and food."

"Prime rib was fatty and not done well. I loved the grouper but the rice was half raw/chewy - really detracted from the dish. I come here often and brought a coule who recently located to our area. A little disappointing as I know you can do better!"
