  • "Are lunch with a bunch of ladies and we had salads. All salads were tasty fresh and very large. Server accommodated desire to have items left off salad for allergy reasons. Cobb salad had plenty of yummy bacon and avocado. Chicken Mexican salad served on crispy, hot tortilla shell. Greek salad had large amount of chicken as an add- on. Worth the extra cost. Booths are large and comfortable."

Noise level conducive to conversations especially in large booths throughout dining area. Burgers annoying served on a plank of wood so cannot be eaten with knife and fork. Dumb marketing idea and unsanitary; ask for a plate. Sweet potato fries are a highlight. No dairy request was honored politely."

  • "My husband and I visited this restaurant on February 28, I believe the last evening of 5280 week. I had the chicken spinach salad and received the entire boneless, skinless breast, seasoned very well and fired up perfectly. My husband really enjoyed the prime rib, the au gratin "real" potatoes were slightly undercooked, still full of flavor though. Our server was Ryan, he was on top of it. Thanks for an enjoyable evening dinner."

  • "The service was very slow, and it took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer. The quality of the food was solid -- and the seared tuna was done to perfection. The quality of the filet and bacon-wrapped scallop was also very good, but again it took quite a while for the entrees to come out. The bread pudding was lackluster, and the key lime pie slice was very small as if the kitchen was running out. This restaurant is popular and thus tends to be crowded -- therefore it's very loud so it's not easy to have a conversation across the table."

We had the Colorado Potato chips for appetizer and steak for dinner. The steaks were prepared beautifully and tasted great. Cant say enough great find. I highly recommend for a night out."

  • "We found Village Tavern on the Restaurant Week list and were so glad we tried it. It was a set menu, but the choices were varied and it was a very economical way to try out the restaurant. I had the salmon on couscous and it was some of the best salmon I've ever had. The service was friendly, from the hostess, to the seater, to the waiter. It is beautiful inside with cherry wood and nice lighting. Great experience! We will definitely be back."

  • "I have been a big fan of Village Tavern for several years. This visit was the first time we were disappointment! The Wine Wednesday promotion offers 50% on wines by the glass. A great deal on the surface. That list is obviously crafted by a distributor. Most of those wines are dull and found in hotel chains. The wines by the bottle list contains some unique finds from Loire Valley, Rhone, Oregon. The promotion does not extend to bottles. Wine serving temperature is the #1 problem with wine consumers. You would think that a restaurant of the stature of Village Tavern (National Chain) promoting a "Wine Wednesday" offer server wines at the right temperature. Not! Our red wine was warm.!"

  • "Have been to restaurant in past, but this might be the last. Caesar salads were mediocre at best, not much flavor at all and stale croutons. Both kids ordered prime rib medium well and both came to table rare (bright red) which server should have caught and fixed before bringing to table. Although my wife and I noticed we let it slide hoping kids would eat it. Well about half way through they both complained and ended up wasting half the meal. My prime rib was cooked well but had no flavor at all. The wife had pork belly tacos and said they were "ok" but wouldn't get them again. This place used to be very good, I'm not sure if it was a bad night or if they are slipping a bit."

We eat here a few times a year, mostly special type events (birthdays, good report card, etc.) Decent wine list, have gotten the random "just a bit off" service professional before, but definitely the exception not the rule."

  • "Food is always fabulous here and price point is excellent. Our server was a little lacking in that he totally forgot to bring me my wine. When I flagged him down and asked him about it he said it would be right out. Then our food came and he came back by and apologized again and asked me what wine I had ordered. Then in a few more minutes he brought it out and he did again apologize. I understand he just forgot. However, I feel it would have been I nice gesture to have taken the glass of wine off of our check which he did not."

  • "Well, what a disappointment. Not my first time here and expected so much more. The steak that 2 out of the 3 of us had was marginal at best. Strip and Rib Eye should not be full of grizzle at this price. Neigbbors tell me the Texas Roadhouse serves up better at half the price. The final plate of shrimp rosotto was on the bland side. Wine list is... well it's not very... good. Colossal disappointment. Can't understand why the resturant was so full unless their standards are this low. It has been awhile since I have been here, the menu must have been altered to fit the economy, we must be in further trouble than I thought."

  • "I always have the prime rib ,I think it's the best in town,the servers are always very plesent and very accomidating. The managment comes around to make sure you are pleased with your meal and ask about your day or if anything special is needed.There are times it can get very noisy ,and the tables are just a little to close to the other patrons not to much room to move . Other wise Yummy Food !"

  • "Overall the dinner was great. Have not been here for 6 months but we always enjoy. The only 2 issues we had were the Hot Crab Dip (always our favorite) was a little runny. We sent it back and it was a little better but not the way we remember it. Great flavor but more on the soupy side. My sweet potato fries were also on the cold side. The fliet, the prime rib and the flank steak were all amazing. The Soy based dipping sauce for the flank steak was delecious."
