  • "Our waitress Ashley was very pleasant, but the service was a bit lacking. The food was fair. The portion of Colorado chicken was very small and came only luke warm. In addition, it was supposed to come with black beans. The beans were left off the plate, and we had to wait an extra 10 minutes to get them. The saving grace was that the BBQ chicken pizza was a good selection. Another disappointment-we waited 15 minutes to have our water glasses refilled. The place was very crowded on a Wednesday night-perhaps because their wines are 50% off. We had a 7:15 reservation, and were seated at 7:20, which was a big plus. Tripadvisor rates this restaurant very high, but I was disappointed with the noise level and just average food."

  • "Our table of 6 were shown to our table right on time, waitress was a bit behind but not enough to be a problem. 5 of us had either prime rib or filet of beef , one had the tilapia special. Food was outstanding. I never clean my plate but did so for this dinner. Everything was just top of the line. We will go back..."

  • "At dinner the place is VERY noisy inside, but outside is quiet and a pleasant place to eat. The food is always quite good and the sweet potato fries are unusually good. That's from somebody who NEVER eats fried foods, especially not French fries. The fish sandwich (grilled) on a whole wheat bun is a healthy option and really good. The veggie burger is a little moist and odd, but not too bad. They are rarely star items on any restaurant's menu so this is a positive! Other items have never failed to be good."

  • "I had one of the best Cobb Salads ever! On other ocassions I've experienced the Shrimp Scampi which I find find always consistently prepared and deliscous! The Calamari was not too chewy and had good flavor! We enjoy dining the the Village Tavern because of honoring our reservations not just a call ahead. The only negative is the noise level! Wish something could be done to quiet down the noicey surroundings as this was determental to hearing each other have a normal conversation. A few excuse me and what's were thrown in more than some other restaurants but this will not deter us from continuing to dine here."

  • "I eat here often. It has excellent menu choices; something for everyone. The food is always good, well prepared and seasoned well. We had a waiter we've had before. All business, not friendly. Some wait staff are friendlier than others. He seemed to be rushing as though he had too many tables. I made my reservation on the internet and my request for a table in the front was honored. My husband is handicapped and I appreciate that he did not have to walk too far. I have also found the valets to be considerate and helpful whenever we dine there."

It has a nice menu good prices and the ambience is pleasant. We have eaten all different things on the menu. I love their squash spaghetti . Our waiter, Tate, was good but the kitchen presented problems which he couldn't overcome. 1. The meal took approximately one hour to arrive. 2. One of our visitors' meal arrived burned. It was taken back and after another wait was served, again burned. Tim, the manager was very solicitous and arranged for a different meal to be brought promptly Tim, furthermore, offered to provide this last meal at no charge and also offered our entire party (4) free desserts. We considered his efforts very fair and they were appreciated. We hope this was just an infrequent incident . In the end, we all agreed the meals were very good."

  • "Arrived at 6 and left at 8:45 after ordering a cocktail, short ribs, dessert and coffee. Talking about slow, it took forever to dine. We were served coffee and 10 minutes later the dessert arrived now the coffee was cold. Waste of money, a waste of time. Poor management!"

  • "This was our 2 nd visit and we enjoyed lunch much better. Quite pricey for the quantity of food served, but dishes tasty. An extensive gluten-free menu. GF pasta/ chicken dish deemed great. Vegan spaghetti squash eaten here twice, second time needed more herbs. At a recent lunch, allowed to sub out one ingredient, but not at this past late dining.Quite a bit of Parm cheese was added to Spaghetti squash entree even though asked for none,had to wait for a fresh entree sans cheese to be served, and server was kind enough to add a side of veggie for (no charge)requested as a sub previously."

  • "We were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation. If you do want to sit outside then it is first come first served no reservation is needed. Everything came out the way we ordered it. I love that you can get veggies instead of a starch without any problem. Some restaurants charge more for veggies and I think that is ridiculous. Their trout is always delicious. The Cobb salad was huge. Everyone liked their meals and had a good time. Noise level was not bad and was easy to converse."
