I never been here before or even heard of it till I searched on this website and came across this restaurant. Absolutely love this restaurant and would definitely come here again! KIDS HAD FETTUCCINI IN HALF ORDERS AND DEVOURED IT. DESSERT WAS AMAZING-HOMEMADE TIRAMASU THAT WAS THE BEST EVER AND HAZELNUT GELATO THAT WOULD MAKE YOU GO BACK JUST FOR IT. OUR WAITER WAS LIKE HE WAS PART OF THE FAMILY ! The history of the building is accentuated by the history on the walls of the Italian family who owns and runs the fantastic restaurant. The outdoor dining area is really lovely too. MUST have: the toasted ravioli appetizer with the meat sauce. It is FANTASTIC! Everyone we have taken to the restaurant asks for another order, so plan ahead and order double! All of the pasta dishes are to die for and we recently had the veal and it was amazing too. Fabio is the server we always request and he is theee best!! Thank you Villa Verone!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMQuaint and traditionalVilla Verone is a quaint Italian restaurant that serves delicious traditional Italian food in a romantic friendly setting. the outdoor seating was unavailable because of rain but I would love to come back to enjoy that setting as well. The menu was full of traditional Italian meals, the portions were generous and the quality was excellent. The service was prompt, friendly and we were treated like friends. The decor is cute and a bit romantic as the setting is in a home converted to a restaurant. There is a nightclub, martini bar upstairs with live entertainment that we heard as we came it. The food & drinks are excellent (consistent). The service is friendly,informative & non-intrusive. They are accommodating to special dietary needs/requests. Our waiter, Fabio, suggested selecting 3 or 4 appetizers family style. We chose the Rollatini-Di-Melenzane, Asparagi, Caprese, and Calamari. The Asparagi was the highlight, the Rollatini and Caprese were fresh and well balanced. The Calamari had a good taste, but was rubbery (pass on it). The salads were fresh and crisp and the soup was a hit. The calamari fritti was tasty and light, the wedge salad was delicious and perfectly sized for sharing. The ravioli were fresh and flavorful without being too heavy, and my date reported that the chicken marsala was perfectly prepared.
My only complaint was that the alcove where we were sat was very noisy. For some reason, the conversations from the two neighboring tables almost overwhelmed our own. We were seated on time in an intimate section of the restaurant (as requested). Our waiter was outstanding (cant recall his name but with an Italian accent). He was attentive, funny but not overbearing. The food was superb. I had the chicken marsala and it was great. Bursting with flavor but light. My girlfriend had the penne arrabiata. It too was great. Food is made to order, so that you can eliminate a particular ingredient if desired. You can also if the dish was made with fish and you wanted chicken instead they could do that as well
The waiter Fabio was great attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu.
I ate Italian out five times in the past two weeks this place clearly the best!3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA little piece of Italy right hereTook the family and the food was VERY authentic and a little on the expensive side. We had drinks and dinner for about 200 bones. Our waiter was very nice and had a very strong accent that just added to the authentic air that surrounds the place.
