Diner Reviews
  • "Villa Ravenna consistently has great food and great service. Their Limoncello is the best. Recommend making a reservation."

  • "We had the wild boar sausage appetizer, it was excellent. All the food we tried was great making us want to return to try other offerings. Impressive wine list."

  • "I LOVE Villa Ravenna. It is my favorite restaurant in Tulsa bar none. Real Italian food served in a relaxed atmosphere. Every dish I've had is fantastic and the staff always attentive."

  • "Used to go here for years. One of the best Italian restaurants in town. Over the last four visits, the service level has progressively worsened up to yesterday. Yesterday's service was so bad, we will never go there again. While previously the prices were slightly above average, I felt like it was a steal with the excellent food and great service. Now, with the food quality slightly dropping and the atrocious service, I feel as if I am getting robbed. We have such good memories of the place that we have given it three chances. No more."

  • "My husband and I went to Villa Ravenna for dinner before going to 'Wicked' @ the PAC. It was our first trip there and was exactly what we were hoping for: Quiet, romantic, delicious. We ordered seasonal dates wrapped in prosciutto as an appetizer. Yum! We both had a soup, mine the creamy mushroom and his the one with lobster. (Which we both preferred). For an entrée he went with the classic lasagna which was great, filing, and inexpensive. I went with the 1/2 lb prawn with linguine which was delicious, but pretty expensive and somewhat awkward to eat. The linguine was simple but amazing! My favorite part of any meal is dessert and I wasn't disappointed with their amazing cannoli. Our server, Lee, was wonderful and we would return."

  • "Hands down the best italian food in Tulsa! Everything is prepared from scratch, fresh, and delicious! I love this place. You will not be dissapointed!"

  • "Great food, more than just spaghetti here - even several good seafood options. Incredible wine, a little pricey on the wine list, but it was worth it for me"

  • "My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed our evening there. The service was great and the food was unbelievable. We cannot wait to go back."

  • "Tried it out for my boyfriend's birthday dinner. Definitely going back!"

  • "We went for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The wild boar sausage appetizer was amazing. I had Yani's special which was clams, mussels and shrimp with linguini and red sauce. My wife had the best chicken parm she has had since we moved from NYC. We would eat there weekly if we didn't live in OKC."

  • "I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food. I've been to Tulsa on business many times and am finally glad they have a real Italian restaurant. No reason to dine in any mediocre Italian chain restaurants. I enjoyed a good Cesar salad, excellent black fettuccine with perfectly cooked seafood. The creme brulee was also very good. One item that could be better would be the bread, but I am extremely hard to please when it comes to bread. "

  • "Best Italian restaurant in Tulsa OK. Great atmosphere, phenomenal food, attentive service. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants. Pasta is homemade."
    Dined on 12/28/2013
  • "Very good dinner. Menu is very extensive with many interesting choices. I would recommend not ordering the minestrone soup though. It was fuull of veggies and pasta and beans but the broth was very bland."

  • "Great food! Love this place. Highly recommended and would go back"

  • "My husband and I have always loved this restaurant for its delicious food. However, they are clearly understaffed. It was not our waiter's fault that the service was bad, but it would have been impossible for him to provide good service with the number of tables he was assigned to. We never got a 2nd glass of wine, my salad came out missing a couple of ingredients and we waited so long for our dessert that by the time they brought it out, it had clearly been sitting for awhile, as the bread pudding was cold and the ice cream was melted. Also they crammed too many tables in. The tables were so close together you couldn't walk through and it made it very noisy, ruining the quaint ambience the restaurant suggests."

  • "I feel like the food was over priced for the quality served. The presentation was just adequate. The Italian restaurant had run out of bread by the time we arrived at 7:30 PM which was a disappointment."

  • "Great dinner...excellent presentation and food...excellent wines and a very knowledgable host to make a perfect evening after a long day on the road,Grazie!"

  • "It was our 22nd wedding anniversary, and I was looking for a dinner location suitable for the Queen of my heart. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience, and plan to return. The atmosphere was warm and cozzy and perfect for our purposes."

  • "This is our second time to eat at Villa Ravenna and enjoyed it very much. Their menu is diverse as I had antelope for the first time and it was great. The food and service are very good. We will eat there again for sure :)."

  • "We read the reviews saying it was loud and when we arrived (5:30 pm) we were happily surprised - they had lovely Italian music playing quietly. It was perfect! Then loud piano playing began. My husband described it as a 3rd grade piano recital (nice if it your own child) - it echoed loudly and was enhanced by the speakers set up all around. Then the diners had to shout to be heard so the whole place was LOUD (and not in a FUN, VIBRANT way). We still give it 4 stars because the food was tremendous, the service awesome, the atmosphere physically was lovely. I hope they read the reviews and take into consideration what the diners say, because this restaurant could be perfect. It feels like a special place, but they need to get the mood right."

  • "Service is always spectacular and the wait staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Never had a disappointing dish and their scallops are the best in town. The limoncello is fantastic."

  • "I have been here with a friend at least four times and have been very pleased each time! I wish it were less noisy, it is difficult for me to hear the person with whom I am dining. That is my only criticism. I love the food and the service is excellent."

  • "Outstanding menu. I ordered the sea bass, which came with a seafood risotto containing clams, mussels, shrimp, and squid. The fish was cooked to perfection and had a very light, but very tasty crust. The risotto was the perfect texture and complex with all the additions. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive, they got everything right. I was disappointed that the restaurant seated everyone (6 parties in all) in one corner, practically on top of each other. I did not understand their decision to do that as it is a small establishment and made to seem even more cramped with this arrangement. We had to listen to conversations at other tables and hear the specials over and over. It would have been nice to spread the diners around a bit."

  • "Wonderful food and great service. The owner, Sergio, always visits the table. Our favorite Tulsa restaurant."

  • "We had a party of seven on a Saturday night. The restaurant was packed and very noisy. Our service was slow, but the food was well worth the wait. The menu was extensive. We had several different selections at our table and all of them were wonderful. They accommodated gluten free and were knowledgable about selections. I would recommend reservations. We will deffinitely be going back."

  • "This is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant. One of a kind both in atmosphere and food. Perhaps the best Italian food I've ever had. The lemon cello martinis were marvelous as our waiter told us the restaurant makes it's own lemon cello. Service is wonderful and attentive without hovering. I only mentioned the noise level as our table was next to a large group of 20 or so. The decor is beautiful, but I wish the acoustics could be enhanced to absorb more noise. Nothing that would keep my away, that's for sure!"

  • "Our party had varying dishes at Villa Ravenna. Most were pretty good and some were just mediocre. My spaghetti and meatballs had meatballs that had the same texture and taste as the ones that we get frozen from the grocery store but the sauce was good. Since some of the other's dishes were good, I will try it again and get something else. Maybe they just ran out of meatballs....."

  • "VR provided good ambience and atmosphere. Staff was very knowledgeable about the menu, specials, wine paring recommendations as well as the interesting history of the family of this family owned restaurant (ask them about it!)/ . Food was prepared as ordered with great flavor. Only negative was that we were briefly unattended to by our waiter but, to be fair, he had received several tables at one time. Overall an excellent dining experience and would recommend for dates, special gatherings, friendly affair or a night out. Will return."

  • "I came with 7 friends to eat a pre-race pasta dinner the night before the Route 66 Marathon. We all ordered different items from the menu and everything was consistently fresh and delicious. The service was excellent. We loved the attention. :) Prices were very reasonable, given the quality of the food and service. I loved my pasta fagioli soup and lobster ravioli. All of my friends enjoyed their meals, too, and thanked me for organizing such a great dinner!"

  • "I took my wife here for her birthday. I must say, we will be back! This is by far my new favorite restaurant and also a favorite of my wife's. The service and food were excellent! By the time we made it to the car after our meal I had already made our next reservations to go back! The one drawback I found was that everything on the menu looked so good that I truly had a hard time trying to decide what to actually order. I would recommend everyone try Villa Ravenna."

  • "I don't know how we got blessed with such a great restaurant here in Tulsa. We travel all over and this restaurant is an authentic Italian restaurant that has an extensive variety on the menu of hand prepared fresh food. It is as good as the best in New York, London, Chicago, etc. The room has a european ambience with a small fountain and dim lighting. The wine list is excellent and the food is delicious with all fresh ingredients and generous portions. You will enjoy a refined dining experience that is personal and practically impossible to find in this big food chain town."

  • "What a gem of a place! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is energetic and fun, and the service was phenomenal. The Veal Osso Buco was cooked to a tender, juicy, and flavorful perfection. The Seafood Pasta (Fettuccine with squid ink) was cooked perfectly and had a very generous amount of clams, mussels, shrimp, and scallops. Can't wait to go back and try their other specialties! The owner Sergio visits each table with an earnest interest/concern for your satisfaction. Be sure to finish your meal with Sergio's homemade limoncello."
