We love this neighborhood spot. It is one of our favorite patios in Dallas. Our service was very attentive and had no complaints at all. Food is a bit better than average. Some dishes better than others. A more upscale Italian experience is what is to be expected.

The house-made pene alla vodka pasta was great, as was the chicken piccata. The mac n cheese is my new favorite.
The server was top-notch. Very helpful and friendly. I really appreciate the variety of organic options and Villa-O's attention to sustainability.

My gal pals and I enjoy meeting up for brunch at Villa-O. The bottomless mimosas and blood marys are reasonably priced and the bartenders are friendly and attentive.
We always try to request the patio but the wait is too long. We like to share the delightful food and it comes out in a timely manner. The music is too loud in the main dining room. We like that they split up the check.

So- I made a reservation for brunch earlier in the week for 15 people. It was for a surprise birthday party. I have dined at Villa-Os before and had good experience with the food and service, but always a questionable one with the management. We arrived at 12:30. Some of the party had been there since 12:15. We waited over an hour to be seated. We were told the party in front of us was late and that is why it took so long. My reply to this was- well, that's why I made a reservation and if you cannot honor reservations then you shouldn't take them. The management was completely unapologetic and rude. We were made to feel like it was our fault for making the other table that was in our spot move. Will not be returning.
