We recieved a gift certificate from a friend.We live in the Grove but had not heard of Villa Mayfair. It was an unique and pleasant dining experience. Our waiter was very nice but needs more training as was ovbiously by listening to the female waiteress on duty. He did well dealing with his language obsticle. My lamb which I ordered medium rare and specified "very pink" came medium at best, when I mentioned it to him he beacame a bit defensive and said that was how they served medium rare- really ? Never offering to correct it. However, it was delicious. Also, the gentlemen who was "back up staff" not wanting to refer as busboy needs to be trained as a waiter. His natural"tableside manner" was noteable and I believe an attribute to your

Food was good to very good. Lobster mango salad was great and so was branzino. Sea bass was average as was ceviche. Waiter was well mannered and quick at beginning, but very slow and disappeared a lot when it came time for check.

Beatiful place , unfortunately grove is dead , we went friday night and place was less than half full , so got no vibe or ambiance food was ok asked for bone in filet medium and got them well done and portions are fairly small

Excellent food, excellent service. The artichoke soup was amazing along with the chocolate molten dessert. A thin, round chocolate cake layer on the outside with piping hot chocolate sauce oozing out of the middle, served with vanilla ice cream. I'm still thinking about this dessert two days later. Overall, a great place to dine!

Food was great, loved the bread lol. Took my mom out for a chic girls night out. Mom had ceviche appetizer and could not stop raving about it. I had the goat cheese salad, loved it but beware dressing is a bit on the spicy side. Entrees were sea bass and chicken breast with side of mashed potatoes. Everything tasted yummy! Great place to have a drink at bar but I'm sure drinks are not on the cheap side. Service was excellent also.

Upon entering the restaurant, it had the smell of fish. My wife and I almost left but stayed to try the food. Both the appetizers and the meals were too salty. My wife couldn't remove her rings for a good two days. Even the desserts were a disappointment.
