The only complaint is we had an 8:15pm reservation and were not seated till 8:45pm.
However, I would certainly go again.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was well prepared andFood was well prepared and presentation was good.

Outstanding service, lots of attention to detail4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMService and atmosphere wereService and atmosphere were superb. Two people in the party had never been to this restaurant and said they'd go back for sure.4/14/2013 12:00:00 AMThe food and service wereThe food and service were absolutely amazing. We continue to go back there, as this has been one of our favorite spots since we moved to Boston 8 years ago.4/10/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went there on 4/5/13 withWe went there on 4/5/13 with a Groupon. Would advise against it. They give you a VERY limited menu for the Groupon - choice of only four entrees. Plus they tried to sell us a VERY expensive bottle of wine - perhaps to make up for the Groupon. Generally the food was good and so was the service and atmosphere. I imagine if we had gone there and ordered off the regular menu we would have been happier.4/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe made the reservation 2We made the reservation 2 hours a head of time, and the server took us downstairs. Service was nice, but they were very busy since they have to go up and down stairs to get food for the few tables downstairs. Food was really good. Server was very friendly, and would let us know the food is on the way, or need a few more minutes.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMI went to Ristorante VillaI went to Ristorante Villa Francesca during Boston's Restaurant Week. The restaurant itself was very nice and the service was excellent. The food was delicious (though I imagine it's on the pricey side when not during Restaurant Week or a promotion). Definitely one of the nicer restaurants in the North End.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMA bit on the expensive sideA bit on the expensive side and parking was awful (and also expensive), but the food tasted great!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a nice evening diningHad a nice evening dining at Villa Francesca. Restaurant week menu was a great value: wide variety of choices for a three course meal, all for under $40. I chose the pesto, Vittela Francesca with anchovies, and the tiramisu. All three dishes were delicious! My waiter was friendly, patient while I asked questions about the menu and took some extra time trying to decide on my 3 choices, and attentive without being intrusive. Prices for wines by the glass were reasonable. All in all, a great overall value. I'll be back to try more dishes off the menu the next time I'm in Boston, even without the Restaurant Week deal!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurant in Boston'sGreat restaurant in Boston's North End with a variety of menu options, knowledgeable and attentive wait staff. Excellent find!!3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT PLACE TO GO IN BOSTONThis place is great! Went with a group of 9 people, they seated us right away and the waiter was excellent. The food was amazing, and we had a great time. I would definitely come back here3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a large group (+10)We had a large group (+10) of friends come into town and convene in the North End. Had not previously been to Villa Francesca's but had seen it from the outside. They seated us promptly upon our arrival. The service was great...helpful and responsive. The menu selections were both diverse and interesting enough to please several around the table. The food came out quickly...and was very good. I have dined at several North End eateries in my years in Boston, and would not hesitate to come back to Villa Francesca's. Lively atmosphere...fun...food was good. One small item---wine menu while extensive, was not up to date. Ordered two bottles of certain vineyard and vintage...vineyard correct, but vintage (year) not, but excellent overall!11/17/2012 12:00:00 AM
