Villa DolceCasual ambience, good foodWe were a party of eight. We were seated promptly inside (there is outdoor dining if you like) in a room with just one other party of about as many people. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. About half our group had a variety of pizzas that are on the menu and all enjoyed them. The rest of us also enjoyed our dishes with just one exception - the ingredients as explained were not quite was was delivered ( a ravioli dish ). All in all a very good experience and we would recommend it for the food and the casual, friendly, unrushed ambience.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMOur food was absolutely amazing! Our food was absolutely amazing! We started with the goat cheese bruschetta, and then I had the New York NewYork! My steak was mildly undercooked but nevertheless very delicious. We came for the gelato, so of course we had to try the pistachio gelato. While my friend preferred it as is, I had preferred actual chunks of pistachio. It was still VERY good! Service was excellent as well. Thanks for a great first experience and see you again soon!5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMCan always count on Villa Dolce. The food is always fresh, tasty and unique. Good mushroom pasta. Good wine selection. Cozy seating, crowded.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMFun, Unique Spot in MiddletonVilla Dolce is like an excellent pair of dark wash jeans- you can dress it up for a nice dinner, dress it down for a more casual lunch, or just put on some flip flops for a gelato run. The food is great, the atmosphere is relaxed but not sloppy, and the outdoor dining area is enjoyable (at least when it's not too hot outside to breathe). The menu isn't perhaps as gluten-free friendly as other places, those with wheat allergies and sensitivities can find and customize some excellent, delicious choices. Because of the layout of the establishment - set up in an older neighborhood house - they might have a harder time accommodating larger groups, although I'm sure they can make something work, especially with advance notice. Go and enjoy!6/29/2012 12:00:00 AM
