A word from Viggiano's
Ciao! Welcome to Viggiano's BYOB of Conshohocken! Chef/ Owner Mark Viggiano and wife Lisa Viggiano would like to invite you to experience a little taste of the Viggiano heritage. Mark's parents had ten boys followed by one girl! The concept of Viggiano's BYOB was inspired by memories of sharing food and conversation around the large kitchen table! The Viggiano Family would like to now invite you and your family to experience Viggiano's hospitality and authentic Italian cuisine in a family-style dining atmosphere.
The menu is designed to give you choices, there are 2 sizes for our entrees; piccolo is an individual size portion while grande serves two! The menu is also al a carte so you may compliment your entree with a side of pasta or vegetable. The salads as well as appetizers and desserts are large enough to be shared!
Our family is thrilled to ,once again invite your family to eat, enjoy and celebrate with us!

Diner Reviews
  • "The food was very good, and the portions were a good size. Service was good, but very slow. We waited for everything. Even though we had a reservation & the restaurant wasn't busy, we waited a long time to be seated. Then we waited every step along the way. Too bad, we liked the food a lot - mussels were great (the sauce was to die for), crab cakes & eggplant parm were good, but 2 hrs is just too long to sit in a restaurant for just two people. We didn't even have dessert! I just think there are too many better places, so I doubt that I would go back."

  • "Viggianos is, by far, the best restaurant around and my absolute favorite! The service is polite, friendly, attentive and informative. The place itself is clean, charming and great for dates or group gathering. The food is incredible!! No matter what you order it is fresh, delicious and a generous portion. Save room for the cheesecake!!"

  • "I went here with my friends for my birthday and the food was amazing. Just outstanding. There was an old guy with an accordian playing all night and he played happy birthday for us. At the end o the night they gave us free shots of Limoncello and had us fill out a postcard. Just amazing, I will definitely return."

  • "We picked Viggiano's at random as it was conveniently located between to couples geographically. Great find. The food was very good! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and the restaurant specialties, Plus they were very friendly and personable.. I enjoyed the length they would go to make sure we were satisfied and enjoying ourselves. Plenty of room between tables for conversation and the floating accordionist was not too overbearing. (Although I would have preferred a bag piper) Definitely will go back."

  • "Great for our group to finally have a meal where we could actually all converse together. Rainy night on a Wednesday so this might not always be the case. Not crowded when we were there and we were tucked away in a nice quiet room. Perfect for us to catch up but don't know that that is always the case. Food was very good and service was very attentive."

  • "This was our third time eating at Viggiano's. As always, we enjoyed the attentive wait staff, the delicious veal (the best veal parmesan anywhere!), and the quiet ambience. Truly a wonderful experience again. We will definitely be returning!"

  • "16 of our closest friends joined us to celebrate my wife's birthday. Viggiano's made it a very memorable evening. The food was amazing, especially the appetizer samplers. The room that we had made us feel like we were in someone's home which was perfect for a large group such as ours. Finally, the service was also great."

  • "I love this place and do happy they reopened after closing for a few years. The family feel quaint and staff is great not to mention the food! It more homier than doing the chain route of Maggianos (similar style) you really feel apart of their family and in a little Italian rest right in Italy. Plus how can you not love the lil Italian man playing the accordion."

  • "My wife and I drove from here from Harrisburg on a reference from a friend. Wonderful greeting, fantastic seating by the fire, friendly and experienced server. Good attention from wait staff. Food was scrumptious--Chicken Marsala was a memorable experience, definitely the best of our evening. My wife ordered the wild mushroom Cannelloni. interesting dish, we asked for a side of marinara. That gave it a little more zest. This intimate conshy locale is worthy of a corner spot in South Philly."

  • "We went there on valentines day and were pleased with our service and ambience, but disappointed in the kitchen. The food is great here except our entree was a bit cool and they apparently ran out of bread. We figured it must have been bc it was a busy evening for the restaurant, but still...either way, we'll definitely come back again."

  • "Would not recommend this restaurant. Food was just fair, nothing special. My veal dish was swimming in sauce on the plate - not appetizing. Noise level was beyond energetic.! The room, which was small, had several very large parties (8 or more) and you could barely hear the person next to you (we were a table of 4). And on top of that they had an accordion player walking around playing for the customers. When he was playing you couldn't carry on a conversation at all. Overall not a good experience. Wouldn't recommend it and we have no desire to return."

  • "We had a delightful dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We opted for the small pasta portions and still brought some home - very generous. Lasagna was traditional and well done. Penne with prosciutto, spinach & sun dried tomatoes in a light wine sauce was terrific. The Caesar salad was huge, bright crisp romaine in a balanced dressing (though without anchovies) but w/the right compliment of good croutons. They happily added anchovies for us. I thought we'd bring left-over salad home, too, but we just kept nibbling until it all disappeared! It feels like dining in your grandmothers home - small, intimate and cozy with a nice fire place. There's a great semi-private room for 6 to 8 up front. We'll be back!"

  • "Food wasn't that good, rosa sauce was too watery. Best thing was the bruschetta and the service. Ellen was our service and she was spectacular, attentive, and personable. Ambiance felt like a funeral home ."

  • "We celebrated my husband's birthday and enjoyed the traditional Italian Sunday dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. We started with salad and shared our meals, even some of the regular size (piccolo) dishes. The dessert sampler is the way to go (you can always order more if needed). My sons added cinnamon ice cream (not sure if that was a special item or always available) and they loved it! I will be back with a group of friends."

  • "Walking into the restaurant, you feel as if you are at home immediately. The feeling is warm and cozy, and the staff is extremely attentive and kind. The bruschetta and Italian wedding soup are unique flavors and the chicken parmesan was a winner. The homemade meatballs were delicious as well. Bringing your own wine makes the experience complete and the price tag is great value for such an experience."

  • "Six of us met for New Year's Eve dinner not sure what to expect since Viggiano's re-opening. We were seated promptly upstairs as requested, and the service was excellent and friendly without being overbearing. The menu selection allows for sharing (no extra plate charge) and portion size selection - "Grande or Piccolo." Everyone loved their various Rigatoni and Lasagna dishes. We all ordered the smaller plates and were more than satisfied. We will definitely be adding Viggiano's to our local BYO dining circuit."

  • "Our family was so excited to discover that you reopened. We were continually looking for other restaurants to match the superior chicken parmesan that your restaurant is famous for in our family. No one ever met our criteria until Vigggie's reopened. We had a delicious, outstanding meal! We will be back over and over again."

  • "Food was good. Service was slow. All other guests heard the story of the place. We were seated before them we just got a hello. Noisy from party upstairs. Ok for a good meal go elsewhere for class and atmosphere."

  • "Portions terrible, pasta should be included with a parm dish. The ala carte thing taken a little too far, I am so far from cheap but it appeared to me the owners need to look at this a little closer. 2 of us got a piccolo dish ,,,,,portion ... ok the Grande was barely enough for 2 people to share. Left hungry. Did not want to waste $ on desert. Our waitress Susie had a lot to be desired."

  • "We visited this BYOB gem in Conshohocken as we were on our way to a concert in Phila. The food was great and was brought out in a timely manner. The waitstaff provided guidance on menu choices and was attentive to all needs and requests. This is definitely a place I would return to with my wife for a special dinner or for a family event. This family run place is terrific."
