A word from Viggiano's
Ciao! Welcome to Viggiano's BYOB of Conshohocken! Chef/ Owner Mark Viggiano and wife Lisa Viggiano would like to invite you to experience a little taste of the Viggiano heritage. Mark's parents had ten boys followed by one girl! The concept of Viggiano's BYOB was inspired by memories of sharing food and conversation around the large kitchen table! The Viggiano Family would like to now invite you and your family to experience Viggiano's hospitality and authentic Italian cuisine in a family-style dining atmosphere.
The menu is designed to give you choices, there are 2 sizes for our entrees; piccolo is an individual size portion while grande serves two! The menu is also al a carte so you may compliment your entree with a side of pasta or vegetable. The salads as well as appetizers and desserts are large enough to be shared!
Our family is thrilled to ,once again invite your family to eat, enjoy and celebrate with us!

Diner Reviews
  • "My husband and I had not been out to dinner for quite some time and we decided we wanted to try something new. Viggiano's was great. Food was excellent and plenty of it. Service was great too. Definitely will go back and definitely recommend."

  • "We had dinner here the other night for a friend's birthday. The atmosphere is nicer that the old place, but we LOVED the old place! This was just mediocre. The food was OK. My calamari was rubbery and the sauce was bland. A friend got mussels that were very good. I had one of the specials, shrimp ravioli. It was quite good, but only 6 ravioli. We also had eggplant parmesan that was great, and a so-so lasagna. For an Italian restaurant, the spaghetti sauce was horrible. It might as well have been jarred sauce from the grocery store. The tiramisu was not worth breaking a diet for...in fact, except for the cinnamon ice cream and cheesecake, none of the desserts were outstanding. I doubt we'll go back."

  • "Loved the food. Service was great. Surprised the place was so empty on a Thursday night. All the food was expertly prepared, and the samplers (dessert and appetizer) had something for everyone. We'll go back"

  • "Went twice, food wasn't good at all. Fettucini Alfredo was not good and the carbonara was the worst dish I had in my entire life! Eggplant parm was weird but eatable unlike the other two dishes. The wild mushroom pasta that my friend had was good!"

  • "Love the classics here - the best eggplant parm I've ever had (really) and lasagna to die for. Great cannolis and ricotta cheesecake too. The large portions make it perfect for sharing, so go with people who like that... Oh - and they have a great way to embarrass your friends on their birthdays. Really Facebook worthy photos from it."

  • "We had passed this restaurant for ages and finally decided to give Viggiano's a try. What a joy! Our server, Brittany, was very knowledgeable and started us off with a history of this family run establishment. She made us feel very welcome and the family-style meal was wonderful. We will be back."

  • "Very large portions and lots of choices, maybe even too many. Our request for a quiet table for a business dinner was honored and we were placed at a great corner table in one of their smaller rooms. We will be back when we are in the area. Very friendly staff."

  • "Good, not great, local Italian. You don't always want a great meal but you do always want at least a very good one. Casual and friendly, the type of place that every neighborhood should have."

  • "This was our second visit to Viggiano's and it was just as good as the first. Jaime and his staff go out of their way for their customers and no request is denied. Food is delicious, the ambience is nice, and the wait staff is pleasant and courteous and not intrusive while dining. Will be coming here again to dine with friends. Thank you."

  • "Two dinners out of five where overlooked and dried out. Chicken parm and gnocchi were good.Portions were decent size but not consistent from one meal to another. Not particularly a good value. Everything is extra. 5.50 for a small side of spaghetti was not warranted.Place is cute but very noisy. Could hear entire conversation of family next to us."

  • "Our family loves dining at Viggiano's. The food is always delicious!! Our favorite by far is the chicken parmesan. It is the best anywhere. The only thing i would change is I do believe the bread was different than prior times we visited....but it was still good, just not outstanding. "

  • "Second time here. The food is prepared to order and was served hot. 2 of our 4 guests would not go back again. Portions are small for the price and with the ala-carte menue this is expensive. Add another $ sign to the price rating."

  • "First time here and food and service were wonderful. Best Italian food we have had in a long time!"

  • "The food was very good, and the portions were a good size. Service was good, but very slow. We waited for everything. Even though we had a reservation & the restaurant wasn't busy, we waited a long time to be seated. Then we waited every step along the way. Too bad, we liked the food a lot - mussels were great (the sauce was to die for), crab cakes & eggplant parm were good, but 2 hrs is just too long to sit in a restaurant for just two people. We didn't even have dessert! I just think there are too many better places, so I doubt that I would go back."

  • "Viggianos is, by far, the best restaurant around and my absolute favorite! The service is polite, friendly, attentive and informative. The place itself is clean, charming and great for dates or group gathering. The food is incredible!! No matter what you order it is fresh, delicious and a generous portion. Save room for the cheesecake!!"

  • "I went here with my friends for my birthday and the food was amazing. Just outstanding. There was an old guy with an accordian playing all night and he played happy birthday for us. At the end o the night they gave us free shots of Limoncello and had us fill out a postcard. Just amazing, I will definitely return."

  • "We picked Viggiano's at random as it was conveniently located between to couples geographically. Great find. The food was very good! The wait staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and the restaurant specialties, Plus they were very friendly and personable.. I enjoyed the length they would go to make sure we were satisfied and enjoying ourselves. Plenty of room between tables for conversation and the floating accordionist was not too overbearing. (Although I would have preferred a bag piper) Definitely will go back."

  • "Great for our group to finally have a meal where we could actually all converse together. Rainy night on a Wednesday so this might not always be the case. Not crowded when we were there and we were tucked away in a nice quiet room. Perfect for us to catch up but don't know that that is always the case. Food was very good and service was very attentive."

  • "16 of our closest friends joined us to celebrate my wife's birthday. Viggiano's made it a very memorable evening. The food was amazing, especially the appetizer samplers. The room that we had made us feel like we were in someone's home which was perfect for a large group such as ours. Finally, the service was also great."

  • "I love this place and do happy they reopened after closing for a few years. The family feel quaint and staff is great not to mention the food! It more homier than doing the chain route of Maggianos (similar style) you really feel apart of their family and in a little Italian rest right in Italy. Plus how can you not love the lil Italian man playing the accordion."

  • "My wife and I drove from here from Harrisburg on a reference from a friend. Wonderful greeting, fantastic seating by the fire, friendly and experienced server. Good attention from wait staff. Food was scrumptious--Chicken Marsala was a memorable experience, definitely the best of our evening. My wife ordered the wild mushroom Cannelloni. interesting dish, we asked for a side of marinara. That gave it a little more zest. This intimate conshy locale is worthy of a corner spot in South Philly."

  • "We went there on valentines day and were pleased with our service and ambience, but disappointed in the kitchen. The food is great here except our entree was a bit cool and they apparently ran out of bread. We figured it must have been bc it was a busy evening for the restaurant, but still...either way, we'll definitely come back again."

  • "Would not recommend this restaurant. Food was just fair, nothing special. My veal dish was swimming in sauce on the plate - not appetizing. Noise level was beyond energetic.! The room, which was small, had several very large parties (8 or more) and you could barely hear the person next to you (we were a table of 4). And on top of that they had an accordion player walking around playing for the customers. When he was playing you couldn't carry on a conversation at all. Overall not a good experience. Wouldn't recommend it and we have no desire to return."

  • "We had a delightful dinner and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We opted for the small pasta portions and still brought some home - very generous. Lasagna was traditional and well done. Penne with prosciutto, spinach & sun dried tomatoes in a light wine sauce was terrific. The Caesar salad was huge, bright crisp romaine in a balanced dressing (though without anchovies) but w/the right compliment of good croutons. They happily added anchovies for us. I thought we'd bring left-over salad home, too, but we just kept nibbling until it all disappeared! It feels like dining in your grandmothers home - small, intimate and cozy with a nice fire place. There's a great semi-private room for 6 to 8 up front. We'll be back!"
