If this restaurant was any place other than right next door to the American Airlines Center I wouldn't ever go here. Average food, less than average service all for above average prices. It's all about location, location, location

Get a reservation. Otherwise you might have a problem getting a table. The food is a little pricey but you're paying for convenience and location - and it beats the heck out of stadium fare. Make sure to take advantage of the valet (again another bonus - but make sure you have a reservation). The food is always solid and service is usually pretty good. It was excellent this time around. If I'm taking a client to a game and they want to meet me at the AAC - this is always a good option.

Booked a reservation for 4 at 8:30 after a Sunday night Mavs game. The place was dead when we arrived at 8:30. We were shown to our table, given menus and water, then our server told us the kitchen was closed. We looked and, sure enough, the lights were off in the kitchen and the staff was nowhere to be found. We explained that we had reservations and spoke to the bartender. We were then told that there was no management at the restaurant and that the bartender and one server were the only staff present. The bartender then told us the general manager was coming back from the W Hotel. He didn't help the situation and we left. Needless to say, I will never try to eat here again and advise you stay away until there is new management.

Brenda & I and our friends thoroughly enjoy the Victory Tavern for many reasons.........food, service, convenience to AA Center.....it's just a well run oasis right in the middle of everything. Jose, the Manager, has ALWAYS gone out of his way for us & our group since our 1s visit years ago until now.......great customer service! It's like greeting an old friend when we arrive. Very pleased consistently....thank you, Jose & the team. Michael & Brenda Brown Go Mavs!

While the service was very good, the fixture, decor, etc. are great and the location is perfect for a concert or sporting event at the AAC the food choice was very limited and the portion was woefully small for the price. I left there hungry and frankly feeling a bit ripped off but since we were pressed for time to get to the show I couldn't really voice my issues. Also the place is excruciatingly loud and very difficult to converse it. In the past we've eaten here before Mavs games, etc. but in the future we will be looking for alternate venues. As the title says, overcharged and underfed. Also slightly deafened.

My wife and I valet parked and ate at Victory Tavern then walked over to a concert just across the street at the American Airlines center. Wonderful food, outstanding service! Lots of couples in the restaurant with a very energetic atmosphere. Came back after concert and retrieved our vehicle from valet. Most affordable parking although its limited and you must eat at the restaurant. Highly recommended!

A bill of $84.00 for meatloaf and salmon was a bit much. Drinks were $3.00 - $4.00 higher than other places. $9.00 for a small gin and tonic? Really? Would go back for food if prices were adjusted.

We were very disappointed with our experience at Victory Tavern. The food was mediocre at best, they got several parts of our order wrong, and on top of that, it was insanely overpriced. For that kind of money, we could've eaten at the best steakhouse in town. Instead, we all left disappointed and still hungry. The best thing it's got going for it is the location, and I'm sure it would be fine for drinks after a game or concert, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for dinner.

It was just before the Mavs Playoff game and the place was jammed with fans wanting to eat/drink and get to the game. The staff handled the chaos in a very effecient manner. Very impressive! The lady at the next table dropped a glass that scattered across the isle to out table. The staff was all over the spilt drink and wide spread broken glass in seconds. The mess was cleaned up in less than a minute without any unnecessary distraction. The Valet Crew outside should get some praise as they are cheerfull and start the dining event with a cheerful and energetic attitude. We were in a good mood before we hit the Tavern door thanks to their cheerful attitude.

After making a reservation to ensure a seat before the concert we were attending later, we were seated, ordered drinks and looked through the menu. It was abbreviated from their standard menu. We wanted something smaller to eat, and asked our server to see the full menu. She told us they didn't offer the full menu on event nights. After she refused to ask the kitchen for an exception, we tried to find something to order. Nothing appealed, and it seemed they were only offering the highest priced items. It seemed they were gouging their patrons somewhat, taking advantage that they were be packed with event-goers. We left and had a delicious dinner nearby. Although we've patronized Victory Tavern often, we won't be back after this experience.
