All of this at a very fair price. I would not hesitate to bring others here or recommend it to friends. I was surprised at the improvement from a couple years ago when we were last here.   • "One of my kids is a vegetarian, and the other is very fussy about what he will eat. They both were happy with what they found. The portion sizes were just about right, and it seemed to me that the preparation emphasized quality over quantity of food. I had a crab cake, and I didn't insult it by asking for tartar sauce. (Unnecessary). My wife enjoyed the beet salad. My daughter liked the Caesar Salad with shrimp, and my son had a cheese pizza of which he ate every crumb. I had trifle for dessert, and it was the right amount, and just light enough. We had a feeding frenzy (the three of us) over the bucket of fries cooked in duck fat, but they had fries cooked in peanut oil for my daughter which were also perfect."

  • "We had another excellent trip to Victoria's. We had an early Easter dinner on Good Friday. Everyone had fish dishes. I had the salmon dish, my wife had the fish and chips and my parents had the lobster grilled cheese. Everyone loved their dishes. We were surprised they didn't have any fish dish specials due to it being Good Friday, but we knew they would soon be switching to their Easter brunch and Easter dinner menus."

  • "We've been hearing about the beer selection and finally got to Victoria Saturday evening. We had a 6p reservation and three of the four of us were seated immediately. As the driver, I spent 15 minutes looking for a parking spot and ended up parked in the far end of the McDonald's parking lot. This is a dangerous thing to do as there are Patron Parking Only signs in every business' lot adjacent to Victoria, but I had no choice. Victoria would be smart to contract with another business for excess parking during evening hours. Bottom line, beers start at $8 and up, which is a bit high. Our server was indifferent towards us, but not to the point of being rude. I never get one drink that I ordered, but did not charge for it either."

  • "We meet here the week before several holidays, family from north,and from south, it is a midway point. The staff is lovely-got there for 3 pm, had some beers and appetizers on patio. Our reservation for dinner at 6:15 turned out to be larger than original plan, and the staff moved bar tables together and seated all 11 of us. Very nice."

  • "The place to go for a gourmet burger and fries. Six friends went on a quest for a great hamburger and decided to give Victoria's Gastro Pub a try. Well, on a scale from 0-10 there were five 9.0s and one 8.5. The burgers were excellent, particularly the Wagyu burger. In addition, the fries topped it off by being great too."

  • "April 2014: This was my 2nd experience at the Victoria Gastro Pub. I had been there for brunch before on a weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This time I went there for lunch with three coworkers during the week. The food was excellent. Our waiter was very good and attentive, and because one of our party had some religious dietary constrictions, they modified the ingredients in an omelette to meet his needs. Also, the owner Victoria came over to chat with our table, which I found very welcoming and friendly. If you happen to be a bit of a beer connoisseur they have some great beers and unusual beers. All in all, my two experiences at this restaurant have been very good. Try the duck fries - with a Bloody Mary or a good beer."

The lobster and grits were especially delicious and I ate every bit. An equal amount of grits, lobster, and mushrooms, it was great. Amazing food and incredible drink selection. If you cant get a reservation, you can always wait by the bar and usually a couple tables open up. Will be going back soon!"

  • "We went to Victoria Gastro Pub to celebrate my wife’s birthday. This was our first time visiting. We were a little anxious as to what to expect. Upon arrival the hostess recognized my wife’s birthday and indicated a quiet sitting area was reserved specially for us (3 adults,2 children). The restaurant has a nice bar area, however we were seated far from the action in a more quiet and secluded area, which we loved. Our server was beyond OUTSTANDING. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the extensive beer and wine list. He was very accommodating and diligently in accommodating our requests and making my wife feel special during her birthday dinner. The food was delicious and delivered timely. We will definitively recommend this place!"

We were seated comfortably with a high chair for our friends' daughter and something to put the car seat on for our daughter.   • "i suggested this restaurant to my friends because it was the halfway point for all of us. the bar was very loud, but it was a friday night. i was nervous we wouldn't be able to hear each other, but we were seated in a dining room and it was amazingly sound proofed from the bar. Our waiter was knowledgable, friendly and attentive. the food was very good, we all enjoyed what we ordered. and our cocktails were yummy! thank you for making it a lovely evening for some old friends."

  • "My wife and I had lunch today, and we both had the huevos rancheros. Sharon, our waiter, was a very attentive and informed service person. The restaurant was not crowded since we came early, and we had a nice chat with her before ordering. She went over the specials and an item not on the menu. We went with the huevos. They arrived very quickly. The presentation was spectacular. The flavor of the tortilla, black beans,Charrizo, and guacamole was superb. But... having lived in New Mexico for nearly a decade, we were disappointed in the lack of any "heat" (spice) whatsoever. Definitely "gringo-ized" for the East Coast. However, we knew we weren't in Albuquerque , and had a very nice lunch!"

  • "We are always looking for new places to dine. This was a pleasant surprise. We started with the pear salad, which was very good, we had Arctic Char and Fish and Chips for entrees. The Arctic Char was very good in both presentation and portion size. The fish & chips, unlike others I've had, was moderately breaded which made it lighter than most. The portion size was just right. The only downside we had was it seemed that the tables were to close to one another. That said we'll put it on our list of keepers!"

The weather was a major factor this week in their dinner menu offerings; which is understandable, but very disappointing nonetheless. Missing a major food delivery caused them to offer a very limited menu for Valentine's Day. Perhaps I should've called ahead to find out about menu changes. I was just hoping for something a notch higher on a special occasion. I think I'll stick to just coming here for happy hour, or a late glass of wine or my favorite Belgian beer."
