Diner Reviews
  • " This restaurant is perfect for sampling different beer and enjoying delicious food. As long as you are not a vegetarian or peanut allergic, it's a good choice."

  • "Victoria is one of our favorites. Food is consistently great and changes seasonally. Always a few vegetarian options. And a great beer list (really, a book if you count bottles)."

  • "I enjoyed my Birthday lunch celebration for the third consecutive year at Victoria Gastro Pub. The service was outstanding, the food delicious and as usual, the experience at VGP was fantastic! I'll be back again soon!"
    Dined on 7/2/2014
  • "The drink selection is fantastic! I was definitely let down by the food though. Just not as good as I was expecting I guess. Their duck fat french fries tasted just like normal french fries, too."

  • "I love Victoria's Gastro Pub. This time, however, my experience was quite off. Our server never introduced himself, so we had no reference for who he was. He was nowhere to be found for an entire twenty minutes after we sat down and twiddled our thumbs. We had to ask the hostess for a server, any server, so we could order out food. We ordered appetizers that took twenty minutes to come out, despite the place not being very busy (empty tables all around us). We were so hungry we had to ask for the biscuits that usually are given (we had to ask for them this time). Food was stellar, as usual. But service was very lacking. Our empty waters sat on the table until some other server took pity on us and refilled our glasses."

  • "There's no way you can resist the duck fat fries! I tried to be healthy and had a salad for dinner - nothing too exciting about a COBB, but the duck salad is way better. Wine, dessert, coffee = great dinner!"

  • "Excellent food and service at VGP. Never disappoints. Never changes the level of quality in the food. Thank you for a special Fathers Day brunch."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "Great food...although limited menu on Father's Day. Beer list was extensive. Prices above what you would spend regularly but worth it for a special occasion."
    Dined on 6/15/2014
  • "The Gastropub achieves some interesting flavor and texture combinations--I enjoyed my eggs Benedict (on excellent biscuit with lump crab) very much. The server might have been more attentive about coffee cups, though."

  • "Delicious French toast. Great kids menu. Good service. We will be back!"

  • "I went into Victoria's Gastro Pub with high expectations; and I was not disappointed. The ambiance was more sophisticated than I expected, but it was perfect for a quiet evening out. The service was on point, and the cuisine was excellent. Their selection of libations was nearly to the point of overwhelming; but the variety was exceptional. This is definitely a gem of an establishment with fabulous food, drink and service. Well worth the drive and money spent on an evening out with friends or that special someone."

  • "The dinner was a solid experience. The food was good but the service was great. Our server was always ready to help and made our night so much better than it was."

  • "My absolute favorite is the lobster grilled cheese."

  • "We've been to Victoria's multiple times and well worth the drive for us. Took first timers to celebrate their wedding and it couldn't have been a better evening. We sat in one of the private booths in the back. Service was superb. Food was excellent - especially the espresso rubbed grilled flat iron steak with smoked cheddar grits! Tried the cheesecake sampler for dessert - plenty to share! VGP - thank you for a great night out."

  • "Combo of good food and drink - multiple specialty beers on tap and in bottle, full bar with cocktails. Food pretty solid - good burgers, good entrees - menu is not huge, but that's OK - what they do, they do well. Not a huge spectrum of choices for vegetarians, but we had two in the group who seemed quite satisfied. Also had two kids in tow - although it's not really designed for kids, the staff was quite welcoming, there is a kids' menu, and the kids were happy with their choices. We weren't there for brunch, but there did seem to be a reasonable brunch menu as well."

  • "First off, try the duck fat fries. You'll forever torment yourself if you leave without trying them, because when you tell other people you ate there, that's all they will talk about. The rest of the menu is fantastic though, so of course start with the fries and then try what else they have to offer. The patio is great on nice days and when you want to enjoy one of their beers or wine outside. "

  • "It was our first year together and we wanted to celebrate by going back to the first place we met. Victoria's was great as usual and very nice to us. After the check came, they gave us a gift card for the next time we come in to dine. We were really surprised and thought this was very nice. We had the charcuterie plate as a starter. I love there homemade pickles! I had the espresso rubbed flat iron steak and my partner had the madeira pasta with grilled chicken. Everything was outstanding. If you go, order the roasted beet salad. I had that on a previous visit to the restaurant. One of my favorites!"

  • "Four adults in our party found the menu to offer typical pub fare. Experience was right in the middle - everything was average. Two of us ordered the crab cakes - one sandwich and one platter. As far as Maryland crab cakes go, it included more than the average mayo which was not to our liking. Two others had the pasta dish - large portion, not much seasoning. Alot of families around and seemed very family friendly. Not quite the "pub scene" we expected."

  • "Ambience is good, beer/wine list are great and food is good. The only problem is that they have a small menu and it rarely changes. If you go there more than a few times, you will be bored with the menu!"

  • "My friends and I were thoroughly enamored with the decor, the service, the food. Everything was perfect. It was my second visit and I couldn't wait to share the experience with my closest and dearest friends. It was a great time, good food and we'll be back."

  • "Everything was so delicious. The spicy bloody mary was perfect. Highly recommend the duck fries and french toast. "

  • "I would go back only for drinks and appetizers in the bar area. The menu was very limited and they were out of one of the items. I liked that they had a room for adults only, especially since we were on a "date night" away from our kids. The beer selection is outstanding and the martini list was good as well. "

  • "We have been many times. The food is always very good and the servers only know how to say yes! It is a sure recipe for a favorite recipe. "

  • "Was looking for a change in venue from the typical chain establishment and I found it. Victoria's food and service was great. For a quiet dinner, avoid sitting near the bar area."

  • "Really enjoyed the Maryland craft beers and the great menu items. Service was outstanding!"

  • "We had a lunch date for a change. It wasn't crowded, as that week it had been heavily raining and we think people were out enjoying the sunny weather. Made for a nice time for us."

  • "we have dined here many times, and are never dissapointed! Great wine and beer list, awesome service, excellent food. We usually sit at the bar and have apps, the chhese plate, awesome! The chartuterie, awesome! The chicken pate, awesome. But of course you must have the duck fat fries! My husband is an ipa guy, and is always happy happy happy when we go! I of corse have found a new favorite sparkling wine, called sophia,it is better than any presco I have had. Always satisfying and always a treat. I had the lobster and grits on easter sunday, what a treat. Being from the south I was delighted with the creaminess and seasoning of the grits, and then you add lobster and a wonderful oyster sauce, well it is a party in your mouth! Go and enjoy! "

  • "Food was average. Not what I expected. Very greasy. We were sited next to waitress station. So people walking back and fourth. We had: - Victoria Fish and Chips - Fish was good fries were overcooked. - Lobster Grilled Cheese - bearly can taste lobster - Poutine - was very good. I was able to get duck meat. Very good! - Four Piece Chicken “Vicnuggets” with Regular Fries - my kids loved it - Fish & Chips with Plain Remoullade "

  • "We went to Victoria's thinking we would have an Easter dinner. Unfortunately, when we got there we discovered that there was an extremely limited menu to choose from. Apparently Brunch ends at 2pm on Sunday and dinner starts at 5pm every day. During the afternoon there are only a few items offered. Needless to say we weren't happy that this information was not made available to us when we had made the reservation. Had we known we would have come earlier or later. Service was slow, but the food was excellent. Overall it was an ok meal-it would have been better if we could have ordered some of the food Victoria's is known for."

  • "Spend many a Sunday brunch at VGP. Food is always quite good, service has always been the best. The only complaint is that they need to vary their menu. The Sunday brunch menu has been the same for several years now. Need more variety, new items. "

  • "Eventful hand crafted drink menu, food menu is small and well done, Wagyu burger is best burger had in years. Fish and chips: fish is good once emancipated from an encasement of greasy tempura batter"

  • "Loved it for our late night fun! The owners have great memory and relationship with their customers."

  • "I took my family from out of town to Victoria's for a Easter brunch. I eat here regularly and love it. The food and service were outstanding. It's really more of a "grown ups" place. It's actually nice that there's not a lot of kids here...sorry parents, that's just my opinion...no big deal."
