Diner Reviews
  • "Our waitress was excellent. She made top recommendations in our wine selection and entrees."

  • "The very best in Las Vegas. Excellent food, presentation, service and location."

  • "Always a great experience. Food and service were top notch. We usually share a steak. This time we shared a steak and lobster special that was just right. Only drawback is that we travel a bit to get there specifically to go to Vic and Anthony's, but we aren't crazy about Fremont Street. Great place to people watch if you haven't been there, however."

  • "Met my expectations and more ! Had daily special of filet mignon and small lobster tail tempura style (very light). Server John an expert on all aspects of meal and very attentive but not ovetbearing."

  • "This was a fabulous restaurant I enjoyed it much more than other steak restaurants that were recommended more in Vegas. The service was great (thanks Jay!) I would recommend it to anyone and will be returning myself for sure!"

  • "We really enjoyed our meal. My filet was very flavorful and was so tender it melted in my mouth. Not only is the food amazing, the prices are reasonable for the quality of food. I would recommend eating here, I will definitely be back."

  • "Surprised to fine this great Restaurant in and old time casino! The food was delicious. A little disappointing that they sent us the wrong appetizer, then a wrong meal and didn't offer to make it up with either a free desert or some more wine. Other then that it was a great experience."

  • "We arrived early in the evening, just after 5pm. We were among the very first to be seated for the dinner crowd, and we got to take in the ambience of the restaurant before the evening rush. This restaurant has a very sophisticated vibe, like a steakhouse you would find in Chicago. Excellent mood lighting, great for any special occasion. Our waiter was extremely professional, courteous, friendly, and took great care of us the entire night. Our filet mignon was cooked to perfection. They were so good that they didn't need anything else. Vic and Anthony's is officially our choice for the best drinks in Las Vegas! After dinner, we explored downtown & couldn't find ANY drinks that could begin to compare. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!"

  • "We've dined at this restaurant several times and it never fails to impress! The bone-in ribeye is amazing and the staff is attentive & knowledgeable. The wine list is extensive but most of the selections are priced above my pay-grade. Vic & Anthony's is perfect for the one time you wish to splurge on a fabulous dinner."

  • "All the steaks were too salty as I could only finish the half of my 8oz filet"

  • "Our infrequent trips to Las Vegas always include at least one special dining experience and this time it was Vic and Anthony's. One of the exceptional parts of the evening come at the bar before we were seated. My wife, who has several years of experience in the food service industry, ask about which wines are best from the (by-the-glass) choices. The response was eagerly and sincerely offered from both bartenders (one male, one female) that the S. American melbach (not sure about spelling) was exceptional. In short, it was perfect and the ample potion that V & A's serves in a glass of wine was perfect with the perfect stakes, risotto, cream spinach, et al. Thank you, Vic & Anthony's we will return."

  • "I realize that great steakhouses in Vegas are rather plentiful, and I've been fortunate enough to eat at many of them, but until the recent revitalization of various downtown hotel/casino properties, finding a top-tier place for eats on Fremont Street was always a bit of a challenge. Our golf group ate here on Sunday, March 30th, for the first time in several years, and we were all pleased to see that Vic and Anthony's is still of the highest quality."

  • "As much as I enjoyed the food I was equally appreciative of the first class service we received from our waiter Hector."

  • "I had the fillet and it was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. The Crabcake is out of this world."

  • "We make a point to dine at VA whenever we are in LV. We made early reservations and were seated in a small, quiet corner at a four top near another four top. Shortly after our wine arrived the wait staff moved the other four top about a foot from our table and proceeded to seat five men at a four top table in this very small corner. It was just after 5:00 and the majority of the restaurant was empty on this Wednesday night. It was difficult to block the men's conversation out and enjoy our meal because they were seated so close. It ruined our romantic dinner for which we paid over $200. We hurried to finish our meals and left. Very disappointing experience."

  • "Memorable anniversary dinner . The food was second to none with a superb wait staff."

  • "This one rivals the ones that I've dined in during my many business trips to Brazil. Great food including a wonderful salad bar... though I think most would consider it more of a buffet than a salad bar - a meal in itself. The lobster bisque was wonderful and love the pão de queijo!"

  • "In town on business and treated myself to a V&A meal. Ribeye was cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Oysters on the half shell were briny and fresh and the roasted beet salad is to die for. Only complaint is the fact that their dress code appears to be non-existent (understandable, considering it's a steakhouse that relies on tourist trade)...several diners were happily seated during my visit, dressed in shorts and wearing ballcaps."

  • "We came here with another couple on our vacation. Service was very good. Dining experience was more than anticipated. Not one bad comment was made by the other couple and they are super picky. Food was phenomenal. Best steak we've had. Definitely would revisit. Very nice place to dress up and be catered to."

  • "Glad we came here. I had the Prime Rib; Wife had the King Crab; and my son had the Shrimp Scampi. All of which we enjoyed. But most of all. Service was impeccable. We will be back!"

  • "WOW! Food, atmosphere, service: all superb! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and delicious, tender. The blue cheese, bacon, butter was a great addition. Haricot vert, cooked perfectly and the best au gratin potatoes, so cheesy and tasty! We had creme brulee and chocolate mousse cake for dessert. A great end to our meal. Nick and Luciano were our servers. They were very professional and friendly. Host and management staff were excellent as well. We will def return when in Vegas again. Check their web site for Prix Fix dinner special. It is a great deal!"

  • "Overall I give it a 5 based on the quality of the food, exceptional service an warm decor.I do not give a 5 Star just to give it, you must perform and they did."

  • "We go to Vegas about 2 to 3 times a year and we always eat at Vic & Anthony's at the Golden Nugget and are never disappointed"

  • "Go elsewhere for elite steaks. Au gratin potatoes almost inedible. Service okay although upsell big time. Overall okay but not worth the money."

  • "This was our second time eating there and the food was as good as the first time, my husband had the Veal Chop, which was tender and moist. I have the stuffed Salmon with mashed potatoes. Can't wait to go back again. We love the music, Sinatra, Martin, etc. and the nostalgic pictures on the wall of Old Las Vegas. The restaurant is just beautiful"

  • "My husband and I love to try different restaurants especially steakhouse. We came on a Sat. Night which was pretty busy. It took a very long time to get anything. Our dinner lasted 3 hours because of all the waiting we had to do. Even tho our waiter was very nice, everything took forever to come out so we were super hungry! By the time the food came out my husband got a Bone-in Rib Eye for $68.00. I took the first bite to taste and I could tell it wasn't going to be good just the way he was having a hard time cutting it. It was so "chewy" . I think if your going to pay this much for a steak it better be good. I would not recommend this restaurAnt to anyone cause of our experience..sorry Vic & Anthony..."

  • "My husband and I celebrated his 64th birthday at Vic & Anthony's and it was fabulous. The food, the wine, the service superb."

  • "For 20 plus years, a group of friends from Florida make an annual pilgrimage to Vegas for a weekend of basketball and debauchery. Five years ago we left the strip for the Golden Nugget. Vic and Anthony's has become an essential part of the weekend. We have never been disappointed. The only slight negative was the noise factor but that came from our table, so I have to blame my buddies and not the restaurant."

  • "It was our first night in Las Vegas and my birthday so we decided on Vic and Anthony's because I had heard such great things about this restaurant. Food was delicious and the menu had a variety of great choices. Our service was OK, she forgot my salad and by the time she came back the others had finished theirs so I just passed it up. Other than that, it was good."

  • "We had the best meal in vegas...the waiter was excellent..will definitely be back"

  • "Excellent - and very costly - dinner...but we expected that! Wonderful wine and beef, a so-so shrimp cocktail (four smallish shrimp), great wild mushrooms. (We ordered so much food, we had a wonderful lunch the next day too!) The only mis-step was that we were celebrating a special day, and we had submitted that info on our Open Table reservation. There was no mention or acknowledgement of it by our server, which would have been nice; Not sure if the hostess didn't say anything to him, or if our server just overlooked it. Short of that, we had a great experience."

  • "We travel to Vegas once or twice a year and dine here as often as possible during our stay. The food, service and ambiance here are absolutely top notch. Crab cakes and lobster bisque are a MUST."

  • "The Waite Staff was excellent and as always the food was top shelf. Steaks, Salmon and Lamb--all incredible!"

  • "This restaurant is located in the Gold Nugget. The food and service is pretty good; but it is not worth the drive from the Strip. Also, the restroom is not located in the restaurant, but is in the casino itself. This is not unusual for Vegas restaurants that are in casinos; but this restroom is a long walk from the restaurant. I was here for business. We ate at a Del Frisco's the night before and enjoyed it more."
