  • "My friend and I were looking for a great steakhouse to just have a spontaneous nice dinner. Vic and Anthony's was great in all aspects. We both work in the hospitality industry, so are very attentive to details and the caiber of customer service that is offered. The hostesses greeted us and chatted for a short minute when we arrived, then Allen showed us to our table. He was very inviting and friendly. Dustin was our server; he was very professional and efficient and made sure we knew what all of our options were. The food was fantastic which made our experience that much better. Everything was great and we will definitely be going back. "

The jazz trio in the bar were talented and fit right in with the ambience. The lobster bisque was perfection, and the steaks divine. Compliments to all, and thank you for a wonderful evening!"

  • "We have always enjoyed Vic and Anthony's. Our latest visit was still quite good but we were surprised to see that apparently "proper dress required" is no longer required? The food and service are still excellent but the noise level was much more noticeable with a band playing in the bar. I must admit I will need to consider one of the other local 5-star restaurants in which to conclude after-hours business."

  • "Bone-in ribeye for me, 2-1/2 lb. Maine lobster for my wife. Our entrees were cooked perfectly and presented flawlessly with our sides - Mac & cheese and wild mushrooms. The mushrooms are cooked in a red wine reduction and are the best I have ever had. The wine list is serviceable, with a few gems. It is the food, service, and atmosphere that are second to none."

  • "We arrived a few minutes earlier than our reservation and were seated promptly. Wait staff was prompt to greet us and take our drink order. The evening specials were explained with clarity and our orders for appetizers, salads, and entrée were well timed. Everything we ordered was very well prepared and tasted delicious. We were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary and were given our choice of dessert compliments of the house. In all this was a great dining experience and I would highly recommend Vic and Anthony's."

  • "This used to be my favorite restaurant but something has really changed. I ordered the chicken with potatoes and it came out undercooked. I ate a piece of uncooked chicken! (it's dark in there so you really can't see much) Ugh! I showed the water and he send it back. The same piece that I had already eaten off of came back and it was ok until another 3 bites when it I cut into more uncooked chicken. Really gross. I didn't even tell the waiter because he was so nice and it wasn't his fault. I just ate the potatoes and we left. Since we are Landry Select members my husband received a call a few days later and told them about our experience. They didn't care."

  • "The waiter brought out 2-lb. lobsters for my wife and I, except mine was cleaned out when I asked for it to be left alone. The waiter humbly apologized, but I didn't make a big deal over it and was content to just eat the lobster brought out to me. A few minutes later, a manager came out to apologize and offered to make ANOTHER lobster for me as I ordered it initially WITHOUT taking the one I was eating at no charge to me. I've NEVER experienced that before in my life. If I ever have a special occasion to celebrate, and I can get a reservation there, there's no other place I'd rather eat. IT'S MY SPOT!!!"

  • "Great place for a honeymoon night out! The ambiance set the right mood for our romantic dinner. The waiter suggestions were on target. The crab cake appetizer was the best I have had anywhere. The steaks were just to order and very tender. The oysters were succulent with a flavor I couldn't figure out exactly. Nice touch though. The staff was nice and inviting at the front entrance. The manager Mike walked around and was very pleasant to talk to. I was pleased with eh ease of getting a last minute reservation on a Sunday night. Overall I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a special night out. My husband and I will definitely return again!"

  • "This is the second time I have dined here. The $48.00 steak was cooked perfectly but had little taste. Green beans and potatoes were good but nothing special. Even the desert, apple pie and ice cream were average. I can say that for the price I was disappointed. The meal was good but not worth the price. Only the service was excellent. I will be eating at one of Houston's other steakhouses next time out."

  • "Ambience was lovely, it was a little loud in my opinion. The resultant was busy, but it still felt over crowded. Started out with calamari, it was tough and I didn't like it at all. I got the bone in filet which was fabulous. AuGratin potatoes, creamed spinach, and asparagus for sides which were all wonderful. Finished off with some cheesecake and espresso. All in all it was good, but this place would not be my first choice."

  • "I chose this restaurant for our 24th wedding anniversary. I had heard it was a good place for steaks, but that was an understatement. This place is awesome! My husband enjoyed his ribeye so much that he barely spoke to me. I am not a meat eater, but thought I'd try the filet mignon just this once. OMG! It was the best thing I've ever tasted. At the end of our meal, the waiter brought us a slice of chocolate cake with a side of ice cream. After we had thoroughly enjoyed our dessert, he tells us it's complimentary because it's our anniversary! I can't speak highly enough about this place. It has wonderful ambiance, great wait staff, and food you'll be amazed with."

  • "Although the food was good as usual, we were extremely disappointed in the service. Having made a reservation, we expected to be seated within 10-15 mins of arrival. However, after 30 minutes, and with the prospect of a table not on the horizon, we opted to eat at the bar. By a snarky hostess, we were told we were lucky because if we didn't have a reservation, we would wait for three hours. Look, we get it. Vic and Anthony's is a nice restaurant, but don't think that means we get treated like second class citizen when you ask why your reservation doesn't get you a table within a half hour. Ultimately, we gave up and ate at the bar. If you pay $350 for dinner for 2, you expect a little better attitude."

  • "The restaurant provided a perfect setting for a business lunch. Vic and Anthony's had a wonderful selection of fresh seafood which was a nice surprise. The service was 5 stars, and the crab cake was one of the best I have ever had. I will have to come back and for dinner and try one of the beautiful steaks they have on display when you walk in the door. On another note, I absolutely loved the iced tea!"
