Our table was ready (on time) prior to ordering any libations. The waitress was attentive, and the other staff came by regularly to ensure water was full, wine was being poured, and dishes were cleared. Unfortunately, two of the lads tried to start a fight, and one of the girls decided to lie on the floor. This drama caused a small delay to us receiving menus at the start of the meal. It hadn't really been long enough for us to say anything, but to our surprise it was long enough for one of the managers Michael to apologize and give us an assortments of appetizers on the house. A very considerate and generous offer indeed, which more than made up for anything negative we could have said about the experience! The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable! The best I have ever experienced at any restaurant. Ever staff member was so courteous and friendly, even those who were not assigned to our table. They were so accommodating and even created a special fruit juice martini for our son to go along with our martini's, and wrote a special happy birthday message on his dessert plate in chocolate with a candle on top. They had never been and I wanted them to feel special and to be waited on like they have done for others for years. V & A's did not disappoint...the service our waiter, Sean and his crew, gave us was outstanding! My wife and mother thoroughly enjoyed their experience and their meals and I was a hero (for a few hours anyway). If I had any complaint it would be that my NY Strip (cooked "medium") could have been a little tastier.
