I have also been to the Las Vegas locations multiple times and found the same great experience. Been going to the Houston location for years and never seen a drop in quality of food or service.   • "I did enjoy my food. My wife not so much. She was very critical of the salad. We found the cake lacking. The wait staff was highly professional and very attentive. Overall all a few minor degrees of separation with 'other steak restaurants'. Unfortunately we won't be rushing back but in all fairness my wife favors a menu that isn't surf and turf heavy. Unfortunately I would tell a friend V &A is similar to all the other big name Steak Restaurants."

  • " I took my boyfriend out for his birthday dinner at his all time FAVORITE steak restaurant, Vic and Anthony's. He ordered the filet and I had their rock lobster. We had broccoli and fried onion strings to accompany our entrees. Our waitress was wonderful! Very attentive to our needs. She brought out my boyfriends favorite chocolate cake for dessert with a birthday candle. Super sweet of her! We only go inside the loop for very special occasions and Vic and Anthony's is always our first choice for dinner."

  • "We went for an anniversary dinner. Huge mistake! We were seated in a back corner by a fire escape door, with a dripping water vent above us. When asked to be re-seated, which we could tell annoyed everyone including our waitress, who was never around much again all night. I ordered a bone in NY strip medium, which showed up rare. I asked a near by waiter to please have warmed a bit more(our waitress was no where to be found). They cut the steak and re-heated it, needless to say was then dry as shoe leather. Middle of dinner our waitress grabs my empty cocktail glass, never to return with a new one. If your looking for a high end steakhouse that takes care of you this is not it. Too many great steak places in Houston, we will not be back."

  • "We live about an hour away from downtown, but I had heard nothing but great things about Vic and Anthony's, so I decided why not. They seated us promptly (15 mins early of reservation time). We got our drinks and waited a while before she came back for our dinner order, which was fine as we were in no hurry. The food was by far worth every penny. We then waited 35 MINS FOR VALET. I asked a worker for help and he just walked off. I complained of this to the guy working the desk, and he rudely told me "he must've been busy" and as I was telling him of our problem he literally turned his head and started talking to someone else. This completely killed the whole night. They were so disrespectful it made me never want to return to the place"

  • "This has always been a restaurant that I held in high regard for quality and service. Truly one of the best in Houston. This last experience was a bit disappointing as we had ordered the 12 oz Filet cooked medium. The steak was hard on the outside, and a dry medium on the inside. Not what I would call a well prepared steak. If I was to rate the preparedness of the steak it would have been more of a Medium Well steak really close to a well done."

Once again the food was excellent -- we chose filet and chicken as our entrees -- but this time we noticed that the service was even more attentive than before. Part of it was due to our waiter Brett who was outstanding, and part of it is their new focus on 100% customer satisfaction that they mentioned in their correspondence. My only wish is that their serving of lobster bisque was larger. We look forward to a return trip."

We started with appetizers which included the mushrooms and crab cake -- The crab cake by far was the best thing I had at this restaurant.. nothing short of outstanding. We ordered two of the strip steaks -- One of the things I would caution is that their definition of medium rare and medium are much different than what you may be used to at other restaurants -- Maybe order one level higher than what you normally would. The steaks themselves I will have to be honest, were not much better than what we have had elsewhere. I'm not sure the price is justified for the steaks themselves. At the end of the day, we'll probably not return -- Simply not worth the price for what they primarily are (steaks/steakhouse)."

  • "I was seated directly below a vent that periodically splashed significant amounts of water onto my dress, head and in my food. The waiter's explanation was "It's humid outside." Well, it's Houston in July. Of course it's humid. The manager said, "Yes, whoever sits there gets wet." They were well aware of the problem and couldn't have cared less. What kind of standards do they have ?Legionnaire's disease, anybody? I don't know how the health department allows this. If you want to pay $50 for a steak and $150 for a lobster, and have dirty condensation water in your food, this is your place."

  • "Extremely average steak for premium prices. You can get twice the quality at Del Frisco's or Pappa's Bros. ! I brought my adult children here to celebrate a birthday and new job and we enjoyed our cocktails and a few of our sides, but we all felt the steak was seriously lackluster. I had a New York strip and it was incredibly tough, not tender at all. In fact, I had difficulty cutting it despite the fact it was cooked medium rare. My kids both had the filet and gave me a bite. It was incredibly DRY. Ugh! I couldn't believe it! Our dinner bill came to over $300! For low-quality steaks? I won't eat here again. There are way too many good steak houses in Houston to your waste your money here."

  • "In my humble opinion the Lobster Bisque was not as good as other Bisques I've tried. That is my only minute criticism. Everything else was spectacular. Of course the crab cake is the best, the fillet melts in your mouth and potato au gratin is the best I've had. If I didn't try the Bisque I would have given it 5 stars, but because of the Bisque I give it a 4."
