  • "Viande Rouge had a wonderful ambiance, lending itself to the special occasion that we celebrated. We were promptly greeted, and seated in a very nice corner spot, which is just what we wanted. We were very pleased with our hors d'oeuvres, and the wine that we selected, a Bordeaux, the ONLY Bordeaux in their list, but it was smooth with the appropriate bouquet. We ordered the bottled water, but our waiter failed to refill our glasses and pay us the attention that one usually receives when ordering bottled water. This resulted in a wine spill. Unavoidable had the waiter done his job. The chef prepared our steaks to perfection as were the side orders of asparagus and sweet potatoes. We will come again."

  • "I was looking for a nice spot to take my wife for our anniversary that was new for us and relatively close to home (it was a Monday night). The waiter (Daniel) was super friendly and the food was delicious. I had the best New York Strip I've ever had (and I eat a lot of good steak) and my wife had a filet that was even better. The main course sides were great, perhaps a notch below a few other places that I use as my historical standards but no complaints. I felt a little restricted on my side choices because I gave up potatoes for Lent. I feel the need to go back and try those on the next visit. Both of our salads were delicious but I will never again venture away from the Beefsteak Tomato and Mozz. My new favorite local place!"

Though this is a "french" style restaurant - hard to get beyond the strip center area. Small but noisy - not necessarily quaint. Very dark inside.. If thats your thing then, you will love it. Wait staff was great and knowledgable."

  • "My husband and I were celebrating our 10th Anniversary and wanted to go somewhere other than our usual choices. Viande Rouge is located close to the new home we will be moving to in a month, so we wanted to try it out. The mussels, salad and Lobster Bisque were great. The Pinot Noir that our waiter recommended was below average. For our entrees, we both ordered the filets...my husband ordered his "medium-rare" with bacon and brie on top and I ordered my filet "rare-plus". The bacon and melted brie was served atop my filet. We tried to scrape the toppings off his filet and make the switch, but it wasn't the ideal outcome. We may give it another try..."

  • "This was my first visit to Viande Rouge, but it will most certainly not be my last. It's been on my list of "must try" establishments, and I took one of my friends for her birthday. While waiting for my friend to arrive, I tried a Cucumber Fizz at the bar--it was every bit as refreshing and delicious as the cocktail menu promised. The meal service was impeccable, and Daniel made it a wonderful occasion--he even covered the raspberry souffle dessert when I told him it was a birthday celebration. We both had the duck with creamed spinach and a delightful bottle of French Champagne after starting off with the fondue. Simply a perfect evening, well worth the price."

  • "Truly enjoyed great service and a wonderful meal. Spent a special evening with my beloved and enjoyed a nice bottle of wine from an interesting selection. Got there early for our reservation in hopes of a quick drink at the bar. When the bar was full they sent us to their sister restaurant a few doors down and now look forward to our next meal out at Trattoria 141. Both restaurants offered enticing aromas making any mouth water in anticipation. Truly neighborhood gems!"

  • "This was our first time visiting the restaurant. The place is small, romantic. The food is good. The Wagyu beef meatballs were pretty good, the lobster bisque was good. For entrée we got scallops with lemony risotto. The scallops were cooked perfectly, the risotto as well, but was very salty. My husband ordered a filet mignon with hash browns. The steak was perfect temp. the hash browns were good, but once again, VERY salty. They served a bread basket, which we very much appreciated. The service was good, although the server didn't make any recommendations, didn't really make us feel welcome, he was just there to take our order and get the job done. Overall, we liked it and would definitely come back."

  • "Service was good and had personality. The table behind us had a marriage proposal (always fun). Food was good (2 petite filets, 1 bone-in filet and 1 grouper). Drinks are pricier than Buckhead, but that didn't stop us. Wine list is decent, especially for Johns Creek. Escargot was ok, as were the crabcakes. Souffle was not good"

  • "Right on Hwy 141.... just a few miles out from the Perimeter on Peachtree Prkwy. What a fabulous place. We live out here, but just like we will drive into Buckhead for Ocean Prime/or Bones... THIS place is worth the drive. Once in the door, you will feel like you are in a French cozy bistro... red flocked wallpaper... warm and wonderful. Very intimate feel and the food is the best I've had without driving into town. My only fear is it will soon be so packed it will be difficult to get a reservation. a MUST try."

  • "We chose this restaurant for a business related dinner and it was a perfect choice. We were seated at a quiet table on the side, as requested. The food choices were excellent. Even if you're not a steak lover, there was plenty of seafood to choose from. They prepared the food as requested, and the portions sizes were very good. The ambiance was calm, seductive, and perfectly suited for a special dinner out. The prices were on the high side, but for those foodies who enjoy a good meal out, this is a great place. I would not hesitate to return.So nice to have a quality restaurant closer to those of us who don't always want to travel down into Atlanta proper for a good dinner.I hope they are around for a long time!   • "We went to Vivande Rouge to celebrate my mom's birthday. The service was above the top. The food was fantastic. The filet melted in your mouth. The grouper was the best ever. The wait staff was so attentive and knowledgeable. They even gave my mom a birthday card signed by all the staff! They made her feel like a queen, This is an expensive restaurant, but worth every penny for those special occasions. Will be making this our yearly birthday stop going forward."
