We love Via Veneto. The food is always fresh and the service friendly. Why don't you give Open Table credits for dining there? If you don't reply I'll know you don't really read these reviews.

This restaurant is an excellent find. I have been a fan of the owner Manlio Mocca for many years. I like the atmosphere and the food and the service is discreet yet attentive. I have taken many friends to this spot, and everyone has commented with pleasure on this restaurant. There are daily specials that are really excellent and the wine list is varied and comprehensive. Once you have gone there, the owner and staff remember you.

Via Veneto is a quiet and delightful restaurant. Great menu selections, food and portion are great. Homemade pasta is top notch. Suggestion for improvement - need to serve better quality tea (tea dust in a bag doesn't cut in a quality restaurant)

This is an old style Italian restrurant. The food was very good and served in a timely way. The service was excellent as there were very few people as we were there at an early time (before 6:00pm) on a mid-week evening. The lava cake was really excellent.

At 6:30, the restaurant was not too busy but filled up nicely by 7:00. The house-made focaccia was really good and worth ordering; warm, a bit chewy yet fluffy. There was a $36 and $46 3-course menu available - decent selection. We had the lasagna (pasta special) and the flavour was fantastic; you could taste the cheese, spinach pasta and great sauce. However, I could not taste the meat. Service was attentive and not instrusive but a bit slow at times. The kitchen was busy and slow to bring out the entrees, so it was good we ordered the bread to start. We shared a chocolate terrine and the server was kind enough to split it on two plates. It was a perfect end, light yet strongly flavoured with liqueur. They let us linger until 10:00.

We were a group of eight for dinner. The food was excellent. The presentation was well done and the staff was attentive, without being at your elbow all the time. All meals were served hot and at the same time. The restaurant is very popular and well attended

Enjoyed this restaurant very much. Decor was pleasant, service friendly, and the menu provided lots of choice, including those dishes you would be disappointed not to find in a restaurant serving northern Italian cuisine. My wife had a seafood entree, and I went with veal. Both meals, including salad and dessert, were outstanding, Fresh ingredients, generous proportions, nicely presented. Very well done, would not hesitate to recommend Via Veneto to others.

Food needs more salt. Once you walk into the restaurant it smells old. For the price, food quality should be better.
