What a find! The wine list is amazing - 600+ wines there! We were seated just outside of the wine area and it is a wonderful thing to be able to look into the room. Our party did wines by the glass and no one was disappointed. We all had either French or Italian wines. The food on the menu is locally grown/produced, mostly organic, free range. Fabulous salads. Try the beet w/ watercress and goat cheese. The chicken marsala was light and flavorful with roasted red potatoes and summer squashes rather than mashed or pasta. The other 3 had various pastas. Loved the marinara on the veal parmesan and on linguini; had a bit of a kick to it. No dessert; everyone too full. Service exceptional, no problem lingering a bit. Will be back

I must say that the food was pretty good here, but I was very disappointed by the service. Before going to this restaurant, I read some of the other reviews about a lack of service. I was just hoping that those individuals were just overly critical, but they hit it dead on. The service is slow here, and I don't understand why because they weren't that busy. The food came out quickly so that was a plus, but our server was nothing great. Here is a good example. At the end of our meal, we were asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu, and I replied yes. Our server didn't come back for about 10 minutes to give us that menu. She later explained she was busy talking to regulars. I guess that means "newbies" aren't as important.

A woonderful surprise in a Strip Mall. Extensive wine list with great wines. The trout was superb as was the veal. The wait staff was gtood if a little slow to check on us during the meal. We would definitely return as would our friends from Denver.

The food was okay and the service was somewhat spotty. They try hard but they miss the mark. The place is hard to find because it is nowhere near the address they give. They are located in a strip mall and somewhere they should say that. we might be tempted to give it another try sometime in the future.

I have come to find that Via Toscana is one of my favorite of the very many Italian restaurant choices in Boulder (county). I enjoy the ambiance ... the food has usually been spectacular. If it weren't for the less than professional wait staff ... this would be an absolute top notch place. The wait staff is friendly and prompt ... but clearly not trained in any "Italian" nor professional food service etiquette. Albeit, I will come here again and again.

We were there for Denver Restaurant Week. The food was very good. At first the service was very slow. We sat for a long time and had to ask to be waited on. Someone brought us our wine order but just set the wine and glasses on the table and walked off. When are server did come she seemed irritated to have this table. She did however warm up after a little bit and her service was good the rest of the meal.
