However, the food was quite good and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu.4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMWe celebrated our 36th weddingWe celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary at Via Lago. We'd made reservations, so were promptly seated when we arrived. We ordered an appetizer, clams with serrano chiles & tomatoe, etc. It was very good, it had just the right kick. My wife ordered an arugula salad w/pumkin seeds, pomegranite, apple & goat cheese with a lemon dressing. She loved it. I had a ceasar salad which was good. The anchovies were placed on top. I prefer them mixed into the dressing, but don't get me wrong, the salad was good. My wife had a shrimp dish with mashed potatoes & asparagus. She loved it. I had linquine w/shrimp & a touch of crab in an outstanding sauce. They brought us a complimentary desert for our anniversary. We have been to this restaurant as a couple, but this last time went with other friends and they were equally impressed. We sat outside and it got bit cooler than we had expected it to. However, it was very quiet and relaxing on the patio outside.
