A word from Vesta Dipping Grill
Vesta, the Goddess of the Hearth, is the most beautiful of Roman divinities, bright and pure like the flame that is her symbol. Latins made Vesta a goddess who personified the earth and fire. She presided over the preparation of meals: Vesta was offered the first food and drink. The hearth conjures up visions of domesticity and peace, for the hearth is the traditional center of family life. It symbolizes warmth, security, and companionship a place for dreaming where it becomes possible by peering into the embers, to find physical and mental renewal and a place to discover the secrets of the future. At Vesta Dipping Grill, we have combined these themes to provide a unique dining experience. Vesta is simplicity, quality, comfort, life, art, scent, relaxation, taste, sound, and fun.

Service was exceptional. The food, as always, was very good, but the server wisely steered us away from some sauces and toward others, based on what we ordered. Experienced staff like this makes a huge difference at a place like Vesta; we were very pleased.

The food was very good. Several picky eaters who like good food all enjoyed their meals. Most were in agreement that the dipping sauces were not necessary, not remarkably good, just taking up extra space on table. Don't recommend squeezing 6 into the large booths - it was a little tight. Especially for a business meal, it was a little uncomfortable (people rubbing arms)

Fantastic yet again. Many thanks for the glass Port as well. I've visited for business, family, and vacation dinners, and you've been a great fit for each. The food has always been excellent, and the overall quality of the staff in all the different roles has also been excellent. I visit a lot of restaurants as I travel heavily for work, and Vesta truly deserves the reputation it has. The only possible thing I can offer that is remotely close to an improvement is that I really miss the Mexican chocolate sauce for dessert.

This was our first time at the Vesta Dipping Grill. The food was excellent and the server made our experience so much enjoyable by making great recommendations from the menu and pairing our selections with wine. The dinner was perfect. We were also seated at the window and the table was very romantic. Will definitely return to the Vesta Dipping Grill when in Denver. Great food, great ambience, great experience! In my reservation notes I had said it was a special occassion and I wanted the "best seat in the house" We were originally taken to a table right in front of the waitstaff service area! We had to suggest to our hostess that there was a more agreeable table further back. I realize that the booths need to be reserved for larger parties (our was only 4) but it saddened me that a 4 top couldn't be made more special. The lighting was beautiful, the food presentation nice, the chef's "taste" lovely.

The experience was good overall, but the table that we were placed in for 10 people was EXTREMELY small. We were bumping elbows essentially the entire meal, and because of the setup of the table (circular with a wall), it was almost impossible for the waitress to serve our food appropriately. We were subjected to extending our hands to grab our own plate when it came out. For the price, that was not acceptable. This restaurant would probably be best experienced with a party of 4 or less.

It was our first time at Vesta Dipping Grill and we were quite impressed. Some of the sauces are better than others (of course!), but the food was very well-prepared and put together. The dessert we had--the toffee pudding--is one of the best we've ever had! This place has earned plenty of accolades around Denver and they seem well-deserved. One small complaint...you do need reservations, especially on Friday & Saturday nights and after baseball games, but think carefully about when you go. The more crowded it gets, the noisier it becomes and the timeliness of the service begins to slip.

I enjoyed my experience at Vesta... the dipping grill was a unique and fun idea. The duck taquitos were amazing, crisp with a nice sauce... Our entree, a meat skewer was OK... the fries were a bit soggy and the clams were completely overcooked, however the actual meat itself was quite good. I found that the sauces were not needed because the meat was so seasoned and was also covered with a sauce. The drinks were not good at all, but our dessert of ice cream sandwiches was not only interesting and fun.. but they were very good. The service was very friendly, however a bit slow... It seemed odd at the end of the night when the greeters sat down at the bar and started drinking.

Found this restaurant by pure luck, and we are beyond pleased that we did. The food was EXCELLENT with a twist on it [the dipping sauces] that we had never experienced before. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the on-shift manager is who I assume he was, made the rounds to everyone I saw to ensure a top-notch dining experience. The decor of the interior is wonderful in the melding of simplicity and style. The architecture of the building, the booths, and the tables is such that it creates scenery that you don't just look at, you experience it. I'm no critic, but if I were, this place would be on the fast track to the top of "must go" restaurants. I’ll definitely be back.

Specifically requested to be in a quaint area and was seated next to the waiter station and very close to the kitchen. While the waiters were great when serving, they were rude, loud, farted and attempted to throw garbage out several times and missed the can landing right next to my feet. The food was good, not out of this world great. A bit hyped up, disappointing and very expensive for what you get. It looks like it would be a great place to go with a group of people sitting in a booth.

Despite making reservations, we were seated right by the kitchen and I was clobbered by passing wait staff more than once. I don't appreciate that at all. Also, a waitress (not ours) who was apparently a novice brought somebody else's dinner to our table, but we didn't receive an apology, which I think is poor form. Our waitress was excellent, the food was outstanding and overall this is one of my favourite places. I would like to see slightly better service (an apology goes a long way when you hit someone in the head, and there's absolutely no reason to sqeeze by behind me to get to the table next to me when there's a wide open aisle on the other side of the table), but I still give Vesta very high marks.
