"Feels like you are either in New York or San Francisco inside this delightful find. A friend and myself went to "Happy Hour" last week. Enjoyed the wine selection. We only had their french fries, so can't really comment on the food, but judging from everything else, I'm sure it's excellent. Would highly recommend the place."

"Although the Restaurant is nicely done and the service was very good, the food was not. There were 4 of us and we all had different things. Nothing was good. the risotto was under flavored, the salad very salty,the hamachi dish was had way too much wasabe and was very fishy tasting. the Mac n cheese had no flavor amd tasted like it was out of a box."

"Service was top notch, staff was knowledgeable and offered great suggestions on food and wine pairings, and all our food was fantastic start-to-finish. Sizable wine list, every course prepared masterfully and delicately, and decor is awesome to look at. We sat for dinner, but the bar area looked pretty fun, will definitely come back to try it out. Highly recommended, no one will leave upset..."

"I have dined here around 4 times and each time the food is very good and service is very attentive. I feel sometimes the tables are a little too close together around the wall but overall a nice dining experience"

"Food was good but overshadowed by the noise level, which made it very difficult to hear each other. The backroom, which would have made talking possible was closed, as it is during the week. If we had known that, we wouldn't have booked."

"We arrived late for our reservation but we were seated right away. Service was good. I had the Hamachi which was a variation of the crab salad that Laurent used to do at his Bistro K and LQ which was fantastic. My wife had the endive salad which was equally good. The skirt stake and the lamb shank were done just right. This was my first visit to the restaurant and I have to say that I felt I got my money's worth."

"We read about it in the Westways magazine and were intrigued. We went very early on Oscar night, so we were not seated in the comfortable bar by choice. The all-day Happy Hour was in force, but we wished to be by ourselves, at a window table. The good wines were not on the Happy Hour (Duh) but the prices were lowered for HH items as advertised.

The food was excellent, particularly the charcuterie and the pork sliders with frisee salad. There is a superb wine list and not overpriced by the glass, which was a generous serving. The apple dessert was outstanding. Move this place to Hermosa Beach!!"
