This was the second time we had dined there and the experience was just as good as the first. Living in Dallas I've eaten at a lot of the famous steak restaurants, but the filet at Veritas was, for the second time, the best I've ever eaten. The espresso rub added a unique flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection. Everyone in our party had great things to say about their meal, and the desserts make for a perfect ending. It has the quality food you'd expect in a big city but with smaller city prices and lots of ambiance. The wait staff are knowledgeable and very accommodating--and they remember our special requests on repeat visits. I had their fresh beet salad with crumbled goat cheese followed by a delicious fish, John Dory served over Israeli couscous and tiny, delicious brussel sprouts.
