"What a find! We had to be in College Station for the night and I started doing my research. This is one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. The food was wonderful, veal sweetbreads were fabulous, salmon cooked to perfection (which is rare) and the wine list was amazing. The manager and waiter were so helpful with our choices. We will be back in College Station in a few months and are looking forward to returning!"

"Hands down, the best restaurant in BCS. The service was great and the food was out of this world. I'd definitely recommend Veritas to anyone looking for that special occasion dinner or you simply want to impress your significant other. Amazing restaurant."

"Had a pleasant lunch for two here. Price a little steep (100) but the food was very good and we ordered drinks, an apettizer and two desserts. Will definitly go back to check out the dinner menu."

"Veritas Wine and Bistro offers a unique dining experience overseen by a talented head chef and executed by a professional staff. The four course prix fixe served both as an excellent meal and as an enticement to return to the restaurant to try something new. Even on Valentine's Day the service was timely, and the separate dining room remained personal without being overly quiet. The layout of the main restaurant is very inviting, with a central bar surrounded by individual tables. Veritas also supports larger groups in the case of entertaining business relations or celebrating accomplishments. Try the prime tenderloin and tuna tartare."

"Veritas is one of the few restaurants in College Station with a passing claim to the title "fine dining." That claim is, however, tenuous. Both times that we have eaten here, the service has been good and the wine list, while sparse in comparison to a wine bar in any major metropolitan area, is the best around. We have had no cause to complain about either the appetizer or dessert selections.

The entrees that we have sampled were not up to par. Given the price (over $100 dollars w/o tip for two) one would be better served traveling to Houston or Austin, there to partake of similar quality fare for a steep discount. Only geographic constraints allow this restaurant to continue to operate -- anything better is simply too far away."

"Our first experience was a most pleasant one--good service, food, and ambiance on a Monday evening. We felt that we were seated a bit too close to the rear bar and the kitchen. Otherwise: Nice!"
