VerginaSpecial OcassionIt was our11th. Anniversary. We were seated promptly at a nice front row out side table. We had a bit of a problem communicating with our server. When I approached the host and said who I was, I was told they reserved 2 of their "most romantic tables"; one being outside, the other inside. we opted for outside and were escorted to a table seated farther from the others, near the walkway on Fifth Avenue (in downtown Naples). Their geographic location is one of the best. We ordered a bottle of white and enjoyed the ambience while discussing philosophies on life. Dinner was incredible! (I suggest anything with their TRUFFLES). 8 o'clock seating w/ a midnight exit. It couldn't have gone any better! Will definitely start going here once/month (@ minimum)! I was told about the managment changes and the arrival of a new Chef. Wow, what a difference. Excellent dishes, very tasty. Steak was excellent. Veal scallopini was a bit disappointing - too much brown sauce. Server was attentive but not intrusive. Lots of children dining the evening our group was there, making the atmosphere a bit boisterous. We dined here after reading other reviews and we couldn't be more pleased with the choice. We have eaten in many fine restaurants and are tough critics; this is one of the best meals we have had. Everything we had from appetizers to dessert was made to perfection, and the staff is extremely knowledgeable & attentive. Although it was a busy weekend night, they were still able to deliver our courses in a timely manner. First time in for all of us, we made reservations because we were told we had to dine there by some friends who are big fans of the restaurant. All of the dishes were beautifully prepared and presented. Our (highly attentive) server offered some recommendations that were right on the money. I also have to mention that the Wagyu steak was the best I 've ever had! Restaurant was very crowded, and rather loud when we got there. We were seated immediately, even though we were early. Waitress was very attentive, and our food was fantastic. Everyone had a different dish - the ravioli, paella, and three different fish dishes. The sea bass and the parchment wrapped salmon were the two favorites.
