Verdea Restaurant and Wine BarIt was very quiet the nightIt was very quiet the night four of us were there recently, probably because the snowbirds have mostly gone home. Which makes dining out not only possible, but pleasant, for locals! We had read great reviews of Verdea in the local paper and they were right. The food was beautiful and absolutely delicious, from the bread basket served with a tray of butter, olive oil, roasted garlic, and chopped tomatoes, to the petite filets, smoked duck breast with curried noodle cake, and seafood stack, to the mango cobbler. For the quality and presentation of food, we were surprised the prices seemed very reasonable. The wine list was also reasonably priced. Decor was dark and cozy and somewhat exotic. Overall, great experience!4/25/2013 12:00:00 AM
