I have also used the restaurant 2 or 3 times for my small staff holiday lunch. On a nice day (which is most days) the outdoor terrace dining is a perfect backdrop to the beautifully prepared food. This time my friend had the nicoise salad, which came with slices of seared ahi rather than the standard cooked tuna (it looked delicious and she ate every last bite), and I had the veggie pizza that is tasty enough to return for and provides enough leftovers for a couple more meals at home. The wait staff was very attentive and anticipated our needs. Our table was in a great spot and well-shaded by umbrellas. There were 5 in our group. We all ordered different dishes and all of us were satisfied, quite an accomplishment! This was our first visit to Veranda. We enjoyed a terrific lunch on the patio with a beautiful view over the golf course. The service and staff was excellent. Overall, Veranda offered a great experience and ambiance. We will definitely be returning and referring new guests. Easy atmosphere to have a discussion or to just enjoy a pleasant afternoon. The service is very good - ice tea and water glasses are always kept full. We asked if it was discontinued, but were told it wasn't on the Sunday menu...but, our waiter said he would check to see if the kitchen could make it. Four out of our party of seven enjoyed delicious seared Ahi that day. They are very accomodating and do their best to make the experience a wonderful one for their guests. The golf course view is always enjoyable. In spite of the chilly weather we thoroughly enjoyed dining on the patio with heat lamps. Very relaxing view, good variety and options too choose from. We decided to do the taco tuesday buffet and was a bit disappointed this time compared to other times I have done the same. Less items to choose from, but the flavor of the choices was still good.
