My mom was visiting us and I wanted to try a new place. So I took my wife, 14 year old and 10 year old daughters and my mom to Ventano's. We were pleasantly surprised. The ambiance was very nice with a feel like old Italy. The staff greeted us promptly and bread was at the table within minutes. I am a big water drinker and most places might fill you up a second time but rarely a fifth or sixth time. The staff at Ventano's was on top of our beverage levels at all times. They even brought over a second glass of water for me so I didn't run out. We started with stuffed mushrooms and lobster bisque. The Calamari and the Grilled Heart of Romaine for starters was just wonderful. The Halibut entree's were to die for. The Oregon Pinot Grigio was a perfect complement to our dinner. Our server was one of the best we ever had. We plan go back to Ventano each time we visit Las Vegas in the future. We tried different restaurants all week looking for a wide variety of culinary experiences and Ventano topped them all.
