The food is the best we've found in Denver in terms of flavor and preparation, and the service is exceptional. Justin our waiter was excellent. Professional and courteous. Knowledgeable, and knew when to converse vs allow us our privacy. A real pro, which is sometimes hard to find in Denver.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Denver, year after year. Highly recommend!

It helps to have a favorite waiter who treats you like royalty, but that is part of the charm of a neighborhood restaurant, and Venice knows how to create a clubby, cozy feeling. The food is truly outstanding, as is the service. Veals dishes particularly stand out, but also the sea bass and pasta dishes are all delicious. We've tried many appetizers & salads & enjoyed them all; ditto for desserts. Did we mention their wonderful bread? The wine list is extensive and there are some quite reasonably priced gems on there. When we arrived our guests had been seated by the friendly staff. We had the luck of being taken care of by Christopher Robin. A seasoned and friendly server/host. Unfortunately they were closed, but I learned that the two Venice locations were of the same ownership. Venice Ristorante in Greenwood Village was the next closest and we were not disappointed! The service was fabulous-Steven was attentive, but not bothersome, even in a busy holiday atmosphere. The food was incredible- Mom had the chicken and mushroom pasta, which we voted our favorite at the table. And te atmosphere is, well, Venetian. Stucco walls and understated decoration make the place pretty without being pretentious.

From the moment we walked in the door, we felt well cared for. They placed us in a semi-private room, and after the only other diners finished up we were the only ones in the room, which was nice. The food was divine, the wine was delicious, and service thoughtful and responsive. The veal dishes are incomparable, which is what we usually order. The seabass is a delicious alternative. We've tried many appetizers and salads in our many trips here, and they've all been delicious. We've settled on the pear salad, since it is delightful but not too filling. Every dessert we've tried is yummy, but our favorite is tiramisu, followed closely by the profiteroles (filled with chantilly cream rather than ice cream). The breads are fresh from the oven. The entire service staff is warm and friendly, but we have a favorite waiter who makes the dining experience especially warm and friendly. The burrata cheese plate was good- not great, calamari plate was good but under seasoned. The entrees were very good, pasta cooked perfectly. My son's dish was served with wild rice, and it was grossly undercooked and inedible. The server took a clean fork to it right in front of us, and agreed. We enjoyed a complimentary dessert and proseeco as we celebrated Mom's 71st birthday. The restaurant is incredibly noisy when full. It is difficult to carry on a conversation at a table larger than 2-4 people.
