First time to this Venice and will definitely be back. Everyone had a different entree and they all looked beautiful and were delicious. Unusual to see 8 different meals ordered, and then for them all to be wonderful shows what an outstanding restaurant this is. I celebrated my 30th birthday with a group of 7 friends and all agree that we had a great time. I sent a message and spoke with a manager about my desire to have a 5-star experience for my bday and Venice did not disappoint. Venice is intimate, with a warm and inviting ambience. The food is amazing, the wine list is extensive, and the service is great!!! Chilean sea bass was sensational, Driss was a fantastic & attentive waiter, and the manager helped me celebrate with a birthday dessert big enough for the group plus limoncello shots! The staff at Venice exceeded my expectations and made my bday that much more special. A salad of pears, gorgonzola cheese and walnuts on a bed of greens comes wrapped in ribbons of cucumber. It was refreshing, but you've had this before I suspect. Veal saltimbocca (veal + ham + sage leaves) was a generous serving with good quality ingredients, strong sage flavor, and a very nice sauce. Server was extremely accommodating, swapping out some side dishes to suit my requests. Wine list looked extensive but I didn't take advantage of that. We were wonderfully surprised! Great food from an eclectic menu. Excellently prepared (no thought was ever given to needing the salt and pepper shakers). Some of the best Carpaccio I have ever had, and I've been to Italy for the "real thing" twice. Great portions on the entrees; plenty but not too much, and even though I had what might be considered a "heavy dish" of wild boar, it was wonderfully light. Very friendly staff that know their business. They were very helpful in paring wines with courses. We'd go tomorrow if we lived in Denver. The wait staff is excellent and I would recommend anything on the menu. I have eaten here several times, the last was the only time that my food was a little oily and the sauce not up to the standards I had received before. My guests are continuously impressed with the food, service and ambiance. The lunch menu offers them a wide variety of choices. Venice also has an outstanding "Happy Hour". The Happy Hour includes special prices on some excellent wine, and a choice of about 10 small plates in the bar area -- all delicious! The wait staff is enthusiastic and yet reserved. They know when you need help and when to stand by and let you enjoy your food. The food is always a joy. Prepared to perfection and mouth watering. Daily special menus make coming back to the restaurant fun just to see what the chef is preparing today. Venice, normaly open for dinner only on Sunday, had delightful specials in addition to the regular menu. Quit and wonderful service. My wife left her camara in the valet parked car and they retrieved it for us.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMBest Birthday Dinner EverMy family and I decided to celebrate my birthday here to try something new. I couldn't be more happy with that choice. The manager helped us choose an great wine and even say down to celebrate with us for a couple minutes. The food was excellent. Since we wanted to be able to try as much as possible without being miserable, we ordered a couple appetizers, entrees, and desserts! Everything was fantastic especially the Chilean Sea Bass and the Lobster Ravioli.

Our table was also right at the entrance of the kitchen which created a less than romantic experience. Our server went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable which was appreciated.
Recommendation - on nights when you are expecting hundreds of prom kids, inform other patrons when they are making reservations so they can choose if they want to deal with the noise and other distractions.4/27/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first visit toThis was our first visit to the restaurant. Last night we dined inside and I am totally awed by this restaurant. This is one of the best dining experiences I've had ANYWHERE. The service was outstanding from the minute we were seated until we left 2 hours later. The food was prepared perfectly and was reasonably priced. Finally, the room was electric. That is when we could hear each other... it's pretty loud.
If you put aside the table configurations, the food is fantastic and the service is terrific! The restaurant has definitely put forth the effort to be elegant but they are a small room. Being a small dining area, the noise level is amplified. If the bar is busy the noise spills over to the diners and it can get loud. The music was nice, the service was great.
