    This is my second time I have taken a grand daughter to the Empress High Tea for her 6th birthday. We make a day of it and come across on the ferry from Abbotsford. Definitely fit for a little princess. You make it very special! My granddaughter hasn't stopped talked about the day since. Thank-you for the special tiers of fun food for a 6 year old. We had a lot of fun with the mad-haired cookie! A couple of things that I missed this time: the waitress came and talked to my granddaughter about what high tea was - she told a story and made the event seem very special indeed. Our waiter this time was wonderful but he did not take the time to tell the story to Janessa. I also missed the famous cucumber sandwiches!...More

    I have to admit, I knew nothing about this restaurant when I made a reservation. I had won a gift card and wanted to take my partner out for a meal. From walking through the door, the service was wonderful. Not just attentive, but friendly, lighthearted, knowledgeable, conversational. The food was very impressive. Nothing crazy, just delicious, well presented dishes. The restaurant is lovely and the view was so nice. I really look forward to the next time I'm lucky enough to sit down at a table at Aura....More

    My family really enjoyed our experience @ Lure, they offer a celiac /gluten free menu, which makes ordering a lot easier when one is looking for this! The freshness of the food, salads, seafood, & meats was incredible, nicely plated. We has great service, timely, friendly but not intruding! It was a special birthday occasion & the birthday "girl" was treated to a lovely decorated plate with the dessert! Nice touch! Beautiful view of Victoria's inner harbour & the parliament buildings, especially at night! We all shared a lovely meal & evening!...More
