The Tap House specializes in Baltimore Style Pit Meat. This preparation involves rubbing a high-quality piece of meat with a special housemade spice mixture and allowing it to marinate for three days. The meat is then seared on a specially installed pit grill which chars the outside and cooks it

juicy and tender on the inside. Finally it is sliced paper thin and served on a kaiser roll. A variety of meats are pit grilled in this fashion and served according to your desires. Popular choices include the Pit Beef served with raw onions and homemade horseradish sauce or the Pit Ham served with swiss cheese, grilled peppers, onions and a homemade honey dijon sauce. Additionally, a diner can choose from a menu including gourmet hamburgers, home baked pretzels, ale steamed mussels, shells & cheese, parm crusted halibut, and a full selection of desserts. Vegetarian options are available and our staff would be happy to accommodate dietary needs.

Please add more than three choices to your coke products, like mello yellow. Also, I ordered a blue moon beer which you do not have. The chili was way too spicey and my daughter asked for crackers which you did not have so she took only two bites. My husband and a friend ordered the pit beef sandwich and the horseradish was way too strong. I had a burger and it was o.k. The fries were good. The atmosphere was fine. Unfortunately, we will not go back.

This was my first time at The Valley Tap House. I brought friends that were in town , because they are moving here and for a birthday. The service was terrible!!! I felt so bad that this is where I brought them to one celebrate a birthday let alone represent our town. The food was good, nothing I would brag about but if it wasn't for the bad service I would have came back but because of the poor service I would not return for dinner again. I would go to sit at the bar for a drink but not to eat.

Tap House seems too big for their britches. Between the 6 of us at our table, we had a number of mistakes, including slow service, wrong orders, cold food, over cooked food, and wrong tab/bills. Not going back.

This was our second time here. We were pleased to see mussels on the menu, which my wife enjoys. The service was prompt and cordial. The food was above average and very good. We had the Onion rings, mussels and the pork sandwich sliders. The pork was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. The prices were reasonable. This is the third or fourth restaurant at this location and I hope they make it. We will return. Oh, without reservations you're going to be waiting a while.

Everyone at our table of 7 was happy with their food order, overall I would rate the food above average although my philly sandwich was less than hot. The service however is lacking, we were seated 15 minutes before we tracked down a host to complain that our server had not come by to even take our drink orders. The host sent over a manager who comped appetizers and dessert and worked very hard with his server to ensure we were taken care of. The food orders seemed to take longer than normal to come from the kitchen, however maybe by then we had lost our patience.
This would easily be my favorite restaurant in Apple Valley if they would get their service issues worked out.

This was our second trip the Valley Tap House, and we will be going back! The Pit Beef makes for a fantastic sandwich (Have tried both the standard and the hot Italian) as well a nice bowl of chili. The beer mussels are fantastic, though the Pretzel appetizer left something to be desired (tasted like overcooked bread sticks with a little salt). Other than the pretzels, everything we have had there has been great.
