  • "We are regular customers now at Valenti's and each meal has been a 5-star experience. The waiters are knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. They understand my special dietary needs and take special precautions to ensure a delicious, yet safe meal. The food is absolutely terrific and Valenti's will continue to be a favorite for us."

  • "One gets used to the average generic type Italian that you find at a Brio or Bravo. This is not that. Excellent tasting dishes with chicken Marsala that is real scallopini, not just a breast. Service was great too. Not cheap, bit totally worth it."

  • "First time diners. It was a very lovely evening. We were not rushed and were able to sit and talk very comfortably. Each of us enjoyed our entree selection as well as the appetizer. The owner showed us around after dinner as we were looking at the photos that adorn the walls. We loved the ambience! It felt as though we were in Italy."

  • "It was a great and reasonably priced Italian place to go to for lunch. Dinner seemed to be a little pricey but the lunch menu had a decent selection."

  • "While enjoying dinner we listened to two sets of singing which was very enjoyable"

  • "We had 4 cheese pizza, calamari, antipasti plate for appetizers. All were good except the antipasti which I thought was very minimal in items and frugal on the meat. Some thing to remember when going to a Italian restaurant, is that Italian food is their specialty. They Steak as one of their specials....Bone in Ribeye for $42. A friend had it and he was disgusted he paid that much for something so bad. For that price he could have had a steak at Red Steakhouse and much more satisfying. Anyway moral or the story, stick with Restaurants specialty...Italian food. "

  • "Have been to Valenti's on a couple of other occasions. This was the first visit when the restaurant was crowded. Server came by about 10 minutes after we were seated. Should have known then that it was going to be a long night. By then we were ready to order. Placed order and then waited, and waited, and waited. Server apologized, then on subsequent trips back to the table without our food told us that the kitchen had been "slammed" all at once. Really not my problem. Restaurant need to find a better way to seat people so that doesn't happen. Not the server's fault, but end up leaving the restaurant upset, despite the food being decent (my meal was cold, which made things even worse since we waited so long. Very disappointed."

  • "This was a nice place with good food. Even the owner came to our table and had a really great conversation."

  • "This was my first visit to Valenti's. The food was very good with enough options for most people. Desserts were excellent. Service was friendly but not overly so. Food came promptly. Questions answered easily. White tablecloth restaurant but not pretentious."

  • "Had a great late dinner. The owner greated us and was very kind to our group. Pizza and appetizers were all great. "

  • "While the food at Valenti's is tasty, the service was a bit slow. The main dishes, chicken and veal, were very good, as were the salads. The margharetia pizza that we ordered as an appetizer for the table was not good. On an eight cut pizza, there were only five or six tomatoes, so we had to move them around and divide. The cheese on the pizza was very skimpy - two slices had no cheese at all! We were also disappointed in the lack of desserts. Though Valenti's claims to have fresh desserts on hand, our server told us that they had not gotten any new desserts since Easter weekend! We dined there five days after Easter! The owner was out on the patio smoking as we were finishing our meal. That didn't look too good."

  • "From the service to the coffee, the experience was great. You shouly bring your friends cause they are gonna luv this all the way to the almond cookies!"

  • "We caught them on a quiet night before Easter, so for us it was lucky. Usually service and food is below standard when any restaurant is not busy, but our server was properly attentive without being annoying, which was appreciated. The food was served in a prompt manner and it was hot and fresh. They even substituted penne pasta for me, which I appreciated. We thought that the value was very good as was the food. We've been to Valenti's a handful of times and have had similar dining experiences each time. We appreciate the consistency very much. We will come back for sure."

  • "Have eaten here a few times and had great food and awesome service. The bar is spirited and the the entertainment is fun and lively. My son loves the food here, and he is often picky!. The fish fry was great as are the flat bread pizzas. Desserts are plentiful and fresh."

  • "Service by Christina was great. Food blah.... calamari was ok at best- cooked ok just had no flavor. Cremini/ garlic pizza also lacked flavor and was super soggy in the middle and over cooked by the crust. Veal marsala scallopini sauce tasted like Chinese food like it was made with teriyaki and not wine. The veal was cooked perfectly which made it edible, I just convinced myself I was eating Chinese."

  • "A good selection of seafood-type dishes. Crab ravioli was fantastic. The place was a little hard to find."

  • "Second visit to this restaurant, first time with just my wife and on a weeknight. The eggplant parm was excellent. Decided to go back when my family came into town, including my two kids. Probably not the best idea. Things started off bad when the waitress decided to hand my three y/o and 5 y/o a small but very full glass of water (both spilled). Interestingly for the adults she placed the water glasses on the table (not sure the logic there). OK moving along, orders placed, took a bit longer but it was pretty busy that night, my brother didn't get the salad he ordered and then when our food arrived it was cold. The eggplant parm was still good, and overall my family thought the food itself was pretty good, but served below warm."

  • "It appears that we were "Grouponized" again. My wife and I have experienced several restaurants, while using our Groupons, serving very small portions. It happened again at Valenti's. Upon arrivial, we were seated in the "back room" which seemed very odd for there were tables available in the "big boys room. We were the only people seated in this section. Not only were the portions small, but the veal parmesan, chicken marsala and our portions of spaghetti were served very cold."

  • "The food was excellent and so was the ambiance. The almond tort cake was the best I have ever had. It was a busy night, being valentine's day, so the service was expectedly slow."

  • "Service was good as was the food. It is a little hard to find, but well worth the effort!"

  • "Enjoyed the restaurant. Good old fashioned Italian fare at reasonable prices (you get alot of bang for your buck). Service was great - good for a casual evening out and/or a special occasion. Enjoyed the entertainment in the bar after dinner."

  • "Arancini appetizer in bar during Happy Hour was very good. Host & hostess made us feel like everyday customers. Our server, Brendon, was excellent. He offered to accommodate our menu requests on sauce changes for our meals, both were specials. The chef did a great job on modifying our entrees, two cream sauces rather than red sauces. Extensive wine list with many economic options. Host came over and changed our table location, because the table next to us had several small children. He moved us to a table in the rear, where the atmosphere was much better, quieter."

  • "The food was fine and they did make the meal the way I asked them to which was nice of them, however, the serving was kind of small and it came with no salad or pasta which is included at most restaurants. I spent $30 for dinner and a glass of wine and I don't really think it was worth it."

  • "Convenient, decent Italian restaurant. Food was quite good but $8 for a house salad was outrageous. The other salads were also $8 and more of a value. Lasagna was homemade but some side should have been included."

  • "This restaurant is tucked away off of Richmond road and without gps of some sort hard to find. The snow covered sidewalks and poor snow clearing made it difficult to enter. Fortunately out of the 0 degree wind chill, the restaurant greeted us warmly and we enjoyed a tasty hot Italian meal."
    Dined on 1/30/2014
  • "We had delicious mussels and chicken scallipeni francais. The sauvignian blanc was light and smooth. The service was attentive."

  • "I took my family here on a monday night. We were among the only people in the restaurant not sitting at the bar. The server messed up our order, bringing a meat dish instead of a vegetarian dish so my husband had to wait about 15 minutes to get his meal, while the rest of us ate. The server did apologize and paid for his meal. I do not recommend the eggplant parmesan. The pasta dishes were all quite good, as was the salmon."

  • "We randomly chose this restaurant on open table not having ever heard of it. I'm so glad we did! The food was exceptional, our server was great and super friendly. We had 2 appetizers, salads all around, and everyone's meals were fairly diverse. A steak, pasta dish, and a pizza. No one had anything negative to say at all. The server was very attentive and the manager checked on us twice and the chef came out once. Definitely going to go back again and definitely going to recommend to others!"

  • "One of my all time favorite restaurants in the Cleveland area. Authentic pizza just like in Italy and the service is great. I love their entertainment. If you have a small group, try to book the table with the candelabras on it :-)"

  • "This was our first time at Valenti's . The staff was gracious & accommodating, our waiter was excellent, food was excellent, entertainment was very good( Jennifer was lovely!) We have already told many of our friends what a great night out we had and they want to meet us @ Valenti's! Thanks to everyone there- fun nite!"

  • "Solidly delicious southern italian. The food is always fresh and appetizing. Presentation needs improvement. Nice wine list. Service can be very slow. The new chef left capers off my lemon piccata (delicious otherwise), but no concessions were made such as reduction in the bill or free dessert; however, will definitely go back."

  • "My wife and I brought our four kids (10-17) to Valenti's for the first time to check it out -- nice menu selection, professional wait staff; food was typical Italian fare and was generally well-prepared, but the prices ranged between moderate and well overpriced; my 10-year old son's 10oz strip steak was $35 and only came with fried potatoes! Dinner for a family of six: more than $260. Ouch. We will not be returning."
