A word from Valenti's Ristorante
Valenti's Ristorante features Rustic Italian cooking, prepared with the freshest ingredients available, just like you would find at Grandma's Sunday Table. Our pizza oven, affectionately named "Rosie", is our Stefano Ferraro Neapolitan Pizza Oven that we imported from Italy. The 50-seat bar is where we host our daily Happy Hour Monday Through Friday, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.. Our custom built wine room is filled with 3,000 bottles from 12 different countries. We are open Monday through Saturday, 11:30 a.m. with the kitchen closing at 10:00 p.m., and the bar staying open until Midnight or later! We are closed on Sundays to the general public, allowing us the ability to hold private parties up to 200 people for all kinds of celebrations! Private party Fountain Room accommodates 50-65 people for those intimate gatherings.Continued

  • "Have eaten here a few times and had great food and awesome service. The bar is spirited and the the entertainment is fun and lively. My son loves the food here, and he is often picky!. The fish fry was great as are the flat bread pizzas. Desserts are plentiful and fresh."

  • "Service by Christina was great. Food blah.... calamari was ok at best- cooked ok just had no flavor. Cremini/ garlic pizza also lacked flavor and was super soggy in the middle and over cooked by the crust. Veal marsala scallopini sauce tasted like Chinese food like it was made with teriyaki and not wine. The veal was cooked perfectly which made it edible, I just convinced myself I was eating Chinese."

  • "Second visit to this restaurant, first time with just my wife and on a weeknight. The eggplant parm was excellent. Decided to go back when my family came into town, including my two kids. Probably not the best idea. Things started off bad when the waitress decided to hand my three y/o and 5 y/o a small but very full glass of water (both spilled). Interestingly for the adults she placed the water glasses on the table (not sure the logic there). OK moving along, orders placed, took a bit longer but it was pretty busy that night, my brother didn't get the salad he ordered and then when our food arrived it was cold. The eggplant parm was still good, and overall my family thought the food itself was pretty good, but served below warm."

  • "It appears that we were "Grouponized" again. My wife and I have experienced several restaurants, while using our Groupons, serving very small portions. It happened again at Valenti's. Upon arrivial, we were seated in the "back room" which seemed very odd for there were tables available in the "big boys room. We were the only people seated in this section. Not only were the portions small, but the veal parmesan, chicken marsala and our portions of spaghetti were served very cold."

  • "Arancini appetizer in bar during Happy Hour was very good. Host & hostess made us feel like everyday customers. Our server, Brendon, was excellent. He offered to accommodate our menu requests on sauce changes for our meals, both were specials. The chef did a great job on modifying our entrees, two cream sauces rather than red sauces. Extensive wine list with many economic options. Host came over and changed our table location, because the table next to us had several small children. He moved us to a table in the rear, where the atmosphere was much better, quieter."

  • "The food was fine and they did make the meal the way I asked them to which was nice of them, however, the serving was kind of small and it came with no salad or pasta which is included at most restaurants. I spent $30 for dinner and a glass of wine and I don't really think it was worth it."

  • "This restaurant is tucked away off of Richmond road and without gps of some sort hard to find. The snow covered sidewalks and poor snow clearing made it difficult to enter. Fortunately out of the 0 degree wind chill, the restaurant greeted us warmly and we enjoyed a tasty hot Italian meal."

  • "I took my family here on a monday night. We were among the only people in the restaurant not sitting at the bar. The server messed up our order, bringing a meat dish instead of a vegetarian dish so my husband had to wait about 15 minutes to get his meal, while the rest of us ate. The server did apologize and paid for his meal. I do not recommend the eggplant parmesan. The pasta dishes were all quite good, as was the salmon."

  • "We randomly chose this restaurant on open table not having ever heard of it. I'm so glad we did! The food was exceptional, our server was great and super friendly. We had 2 appetizers, salads all around, and everyone's meals were fairly diverse. A steak, pasta dish, and a pizza. No one had anything negative to say at all. The server was very attentive and the manager checked on us twice and the chef came out once. Definitely going to go back again and definitely going to recommend to others!"

  • "Solidly delicious southern italian. The food is always fresh and appetizing. Presentation needs improvement. Nice wine list. Service can be very slow. The new chef left capers off my lemon piccata (delicious otherwise), but no concessions were made such as reduction in the bill or free dessert; however, will definitely go back."

  • "My wife and I brought our four kids (10-17) to Valenti's for the first time to check it out -- nice menu selection, professional wait staff; food was typical Italian fare and was generally well-prepared, but the prices ranged between moderate and well overpriced; my 10-year old son's 10oz strip steak was $35 and only came with fried potatoes! Dinner for a family of six: more than $260. Ouch. We will not be returning."

  • "Had been there about 6 months ago, and it was fine, but pricey. This time, food was below par, service slow but barely passable. Prices were also, for what we got, way out of line.Then, after paying and leaving, I was accosted publicly by the server who loudly proclaimed that I had not left the credit card slip. We returned to the table to see the slip laying in plain sight on the floor, where it had been dropped by the server or a busboy. Better Italian food, at a better price, with way better service at most Italian places in Greater Cleveland. We won't be back, and we will be warning our friends about the place."

The restaurant is roomy enough that you don't feel like you're crammed into the space or on top of each other. The server was attentive but not overbearing and our food was absolutely delicious! The place was spotless including the restrooms. I passed a beautifully set table for a group that makes me want to go back again with more people to enjoy! I only wish there was a location on the west side of town where I live so that I can enjoy it more regularly. I won't hesitate to go again or recommend it to others."

  • "This was my second visit to Valenti's, and both experiences were great. This time, I dined for lunch, and the food and service were beyond reproach, and the restaurant was busy. I brought a friend who was visiting from New York, and who is very hard to please. She said the minestrone soup was the "best she's ever had," and her salad with chicken breast (which was perfectly cooked) was "excellent." This is the first time I've ever seen her clean her plate. I had gnocchi with Bolognese sauce; the gnocchi were cooked perfectly and the sauce was very tasty (I'm Italian and also difficult to please). My only "complaint:" they could use a better Prosecco by the glass. Otherwise, outstanding!"

  • "This was our first visit and won't be our last. We started off with Calimari, which was excellent and then on to a Caprese salad, both very tasty. My wife had Salmon for dinner and I had the Eggplant parm. Both cooked very well and tasted great. Our server was attentive, knowlegable about the menu, helped my wife pick a wine that she was very happy with, and kept my iced tea glass full. He was very nice. We had a nice experience sitting outside on their patio. Highly recommended."

  • "This italian restaurant has a very nice patio, with torches, and nicely hidden by pine trees. Excellent pizzas, salads and entrees. Moderately prized, unlike it's neighbors. Service was attentive and excellent. Live music inside... We didn't hear it in the patio. Nice bar inside. Definitely worth trying!"
